I wish you would put how long it took you to do this manicure. I did it today, and it was the first time working with builder gel. It took me over 5 hours. Also, Sally's didn't have monimer or transfers, so I went to Dollar Tree and used what looked like a monimer birthday banner. 2 different ones. Craziest, longest mani ever, but it looks great!

I LOVE Grant! I always laugh and laugh when he is in the videos. I am also a former nail biter so my nail beds are shorter than average even though I quit biting 30 years ago. I learned a lot about how to place nail forms when my nails are broken or clipped short from the videos that Grant is in. I say BOOOO to the haters!

I wish it was actually possible to find a genuinely educated nail technician where i am in Queensland. I have spent ludicrous amounts of money trying to find a great, reputable tech but every time they take no pride in their work and do the bare minimum. I love people who love their craft and take pride in the way they present their skills.

I found you a couple of months ago, when I had no idea what to do with a dip powder kit I'd been given. Four manis later - with your excellent tuition - I can now do something pretty passable with my nails, so thank you!
BTW, back in the late '70s, acrylic nail kits started to appear in Boots (huge chemist/drug store here in the UK). They cost £5, which meant doing two babysitting jobs to be able to afford them! In today's money, those nail kits would cost £35.95 (c.62 CAD)! And as I recall, they weren't great - just a bottle of liquid, a tub of powder, a few forms, and a brush. Instructions were very basic, and I never did manage to create anything other than a lumpy manicure. How times have changed!
