This video came out at a perfect time. I'm learning how to do my wifes nails. She loves getting her nails done but doesn't get them done often.
Hopefully, we'll save some money she can have them done more often.
Thank you
How adorable
That's the sweetest thing ever!
Awe.
Good job! That's dedication!
Funny thing: found myself blowing into the screen to get the dust off of your hands to see better where the edge of the acrylic was 😂. It was unintentionally of course but I started laughing at my reaction 😂. Love your channel! Love how you explain, love how calm and funny you are. Thanks so much for this education. ❤
So happy to hear cameraman's voice! I pray he continues to heal quickly!
When I started doing nails, 3 years ago,
I binge- watched your videos.
You've been essential to me learning how to prepare, structure, build, form, file & design a nail.
I learned so much. Thank you, Suzie! ❤
I love your presentation style. You are informative and so funny at times. And the camera work is perfect. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Nice to have cameraman back!
Yes!!
I love those mini bits! Much easier to work with and so effective.
Awesome, I was just in a need of a calming video 🥰
I loved all the knowledge & teaching you offered us in this video! And the baby bits 🥹 and the adorable convos you & cameraman have 🤓
OMG! Thank you for teaching. You are a great resource. You are AWESOME! I LOVE the Baby Bits! I must have them!
I like the way you explain and speak calmly. Thank you very much
Thankyou Suzie. You have so much knowledge, yet no basic detail is overlooked. Your patience and care shine through always❤❤
I just love your bits and Arbor bands they are so great to use. They work just as you indicated in your video. ❤😊.
Loving the interaction between Suzie and "Camera man"!!!
How funny! I always say “anchor, anchor, anchor!” You need an anchor point! But “stabilize” works just as great, too!
Thank you! I love every product I've purchased from you. The bits are the best!
Congratulations!!! It's all so beautiful 💗
OMGGGGGGGGG I looooove the baby bits!!! How great they are! I dont think I've ever seen arbor bands that small. So convenient for getting into the corners. What a great innovative idea! Thanks for this video Suzie! Great explanation and so clear and easy to follow! 😊
Thank you for this video. Only recently bought an efile and used it for the first this past Saturday. Knowing I did not made a mess to much is a great thought. But learning more aboutt efiling is awesome. Thanks!!!
I have been watching your videos and just love them all. You go step by step slowly so people understand the steps just amazing and I wish I had had you as my teacher back when I started nails in the late 80s. I’m buying your products and going to be doing my nails and close friends again after so many years of having a break from doing them. Thank you and we all love watching you! Xo from Australia 🎉
I love that little arbor band idea!
I have been with you from the beginning of my nail hobby. I have recently branched into other teaching channels, but when I want to reinforce my learning, I watch you and it brings it all together. Also… I sometimes watch you create nails I would never wear (the icicles) just because you have such fun doing them. 😂
Thank you. ❤
This is amazing ! I got my e~file yesterday and this come up today Yay😁👍 I’m a newbie so this is great !
Loved this video!
I recently received my EZ File, Bit Set & Gold Trimmer Bit, all from your website, and I'm super excited to use them to create sets of nails with them! This is my first professional grade e-file as a DIYer, so this video is extremely helpful!!! Thank you!
Omgosh, I always get excited when Suzie comes out with a new video! ❤
MEE TOOO! I’ve branched off into other teaching channels, but Susie remains my fave. ❤️
I was pretty excited to get my e file its nice being able to take gel nails off quickly plus i would rather it be me that accidentally hurts myself from it than get hurt by some worker in a nail salon
Thank you for sharing ❣💐🦋🙏
Beginner here and new subscriber… Thank you for the detailed explanation and visual!! I learned so much!! Will continue to learn more with your help!!! ❤
Ty for alll the info as always..precious ❤
I never see you use a dust collector. How do you deal with all the dust?
This video was very helpful, thank you. I'm just starting doing my own dip nails at home. I’m only working with my natural nail and was about to buy a set of metal bits cause that’s what popped up in my search and its that rainbow metal and I’m a sucker for that pretty crap. Swapped those out for the sanding bands. Much appreciated.
Girl thank you so much! Your way of explaining is just so perfect and understandable :) Keep the good work on
I got one as a gift for Christmas. This is helpful.
Omg secret keeper!!! I’m obsessed with it and now I need it lol 😂
I feel called out after commenting RIP to my nailbeds a few videos ago! 😂💜🙏 also the mini arbor band bits are really good for etching the inside of gel tips before applying to nails as well
I use acetone to clean my bits too. Ps I love the bling duster. I ordered mine a couple of months ago & it's fantastic! Thank you 😊
Wow LOVE your new baby bits! They look amazing!! I have very petite narrow nails and have so much trouble using the normal size bits!! 💅🏼🤍🩷✨
I love you Suzy. Thanks for all your knowledge. FYI, I was soooo stressed at the lifting 😂😂😂❤
Happy wonderful Sunday I always look so forward to seeing beautiful tips and information Susie 🥰💯‼️🍀✨🍀🙋🏻♀️🐇🌹🐇🍀🙋🏻♀️🍀 I would love to see your Saint Patty's Day in your Easter design since it's going to be in March in the United States. Don't know if it's the same in Canada but I always love to see the beautiful designs. Have a blessed and peaceful March 2024
Fantastic video !!!!!! Thank you
I'm also old school from way back in tne day. When anything was loose and lifted, we would nip with our nippers and then file/prep. I also used a dentist drill with the foot peddle and used a hand file. That was big time Lol. Used to hang on a tall hook that was attached to my table. Nail industry has come a long way 🥰
OMG!! The foot pedal - I LOVED THE FOOT PEDAL
The drill I bought from Makartt 2 ish years ago came with a foot pedal you can use if you want. I've not even tried it yet since I figured it took more coordination than I have lol
Great video. ❤❤❤
Very great video. I want to see a video with those Bits to file the sculpted nail in form.
I was hoping I was right about what you were coming out with! I am so stinking excited about this little bit! I've always wanted one and I'm so glad you made it! I cannot wait to order mine!
They are adorable
@@NailCareerEducation they looked like it! I am so glad you came out with this!
Thank you thank you…. I am officially okay with using an e-file, thank you so much ❤
You’re a godsend
Great helpful video
Can you soak diamond bits in acetone as well? And speaking of diamond bits… would you ever consider adding diamond bits (for cuticle prep) to your line of bits? 🙏😁🙏❤
Personally, I don’t agree with Diamond bits for prepping the cuticle sure it’s gentle, but it doesn’t buffet enough to have product adhere to most people
Thank you so much ❤️
I am so happy that you have the mini mandrel. I can't wait until they are available.
They are on my website
Nailcareer.com
Search for BABY SANDING BANDS UNDER FILES AND BITS
@NailCareerEducation are even smaller than the other mini mandrels already on market? They look shorter? I'd loveeee an even smaller one than the already smaller ones recently released by a lot of other brands. Hahaah. Love it!
I find the shortening of the nails so satisfying! 😂
This baby is on the top of my birthday wish list!! Come on July!
Great to hear cameraman again. Glad he is doing better.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! This is so useful as I've only had my e-file a little over 3 months. I've been thinking about slowly transitioning into trying out polygel and this video will be so helpful. Do you have one for cuticle work with bits?
It's so nice to hear Cameraman's voice again! I hope he's feeling much better!
Walmart sells a drill for trimming your dog's nails and comes with the old type bit that's really big and what Suzie is talking about. They really are like twice the size!
When should I have the bit in forward or reverse?
I have Suzie’s original E-File (the one without the base) and I use Forward on my left hand and Reverse on my right. Works perfectly that way.
RARELY
- in fact, I never use it I’m right handed. So mine is always on forward.
The only time I’ve ever recommended it is when a Student is left-handed then we simply click it onto reverse. They can use the exact same bits. It’s just a different angle.
I find it easier to get into the cuticle with the Russian bits in reverse even though I’m right handed, and it’s been the same for several other technicians I’ve worked with
I'm ambidextrous so I use forward and reverse all the time. Especially when I do my own. Generally on a client you're staying with one hand and swooping right to left so you wouldn't have to change
@@NailCareerEducationI heard someone suggest when doing your own nails that if you are right handed you would select reverse when working on your dominant hand with your left hand. What do you think? I am only doing my own nails and I've been thinking about an e-file primarily for polish removal. I've used builder gel on a couple of weaker nails that break easily and like it but manually filing the polish off takes longer and even shaping the nail when needed has been a bit difficult so I'm hesitant to use builder gel on all ten. E-files scare me a bit so your video was very helpful.
Susie zi am saving my money to shop your store. I am not licensed but am determined to learn to do my own sculpted gel nails. Currently working with biab but need to perfect my e file skills. Thanks for this vid!
Yesss to the calm music at 22:00
This video really helped me understand what i SHOULD expect from a good salon. the second time i ever went to a salon was to get my gels taken off and a touch up on my natural nails, but the nail tech kept filing deeper into my natural nail when removing the gels. i hadn't even made it out of the parking lot before my nails started breaking away 😭
its been about a year and a half since then, and im only now back to having medium length natural nails. ive avoided all salons because of that experience. at least now i know what to watch out for lol
Your glasses are super cute!
I saw the mini bits on the website before I watched this video. So exciting. The corners are my worst nightmare!!
Corners are everyone’s issue / your not alone
You also should make a kit with 5in 1bit,a cuticule bit, flame as as exaamplee..and the niddle bitt for underfille❤love thhis alot as well..thats an amazing ideea❤
Well im running home to put a bit back in my file while im not using it lol..... Suzie i would love to know why we do that? what is the purpose? Thank you, i love your videos, so helpful
Ahhhh, Camera man's voice is dreamy 😍 ✨️. Great Camera work 2. ❤
Cool 😀
What is this sorcery? I really enjoy your videos, yet have absolutely no desire to get fake nails or really have any interest in them in general, yet somehow I find myself coming back to your channel again and again for the warm, chill vibes. I'm becoming accidentally educated 😂
I do too. I watch the icicle nail episode over and over because she is having so much fun. 😊
Hello! If you had bulky nail charms glued onto the natural nail or on a nail extension-would you use a needle-shaped bit to drill around it? To loosen up the charm? How would you remove it for a fill and for a complete removal? I am interested in doing the trendy Korean syrup nails with 3D charms. Thank you!
I'm pretty new to doing gel, or any type of additions to my nails. I started using the Modelones Builder Gel in a bottle. It's really clear. How do I tell when I'm getting to the natural nail? I'm pretty sure I've damaged my nail a little bit. I also have a really cheap efile that doesn't display how fast it's going. It just has a little dial jwith slow-high on it.
Hey Suzie very nice, simple and detailed video, love it, I have one question though, shouldn't we suppose to dust off the efile before changing the bits, bc over time the dust will get down in the hand piece and build up, and cause big problems? I dust mine before changing them, and by the way I love ❤ everything about the small mandrel.
Yeah you can. It just depends on how particular you are. Honestly, it takes years for the dust to compact in there. The old e-files we used to use the old dentists. It would compact in there, but it literally would take 10 years before I could see the effects of that. And to be quite truthful, they don’t make equipment like they used to. So these drills Even the $500 ones generally don’t last past that anyway. Now keep in mind the dentistry we used to buy in around $2000.
Can you do a tutorial of how you did your nails on your right hand? I love the color😊
HI BEAUTIFUL ! MARVELOUS VIDEO !
Hey Suzie can you try out Tipex sculpted full cover tips for us please. 🙏🏽
I love me some nail drill bits lol
You should totally do a video doing your nails with your old dentist drill ❤
@NailCareerEducation would it be possibly to make a video about the pro’s and cons of Carbide drill bits and Ceramic drill bits? Is one better than the other, or what’s the deal with them? Love your videos btw❤️
Actually, that’s a good question but I don’t think there are any. That’s probably why you’re not finding a video about it. They’re basically the same. They do the same thing they look the same. They act the same. They’re just different materials but they get the same job done.
Very informative. You and I have commented before back-and-forth how you're one of the few people who allow yourself to file back-and-forth. Not just One Direction.
This is hilarious to me. I’ve been doing this for 35 years and it’s only in the past year too that I’ve heard that some nail technicians go one way. In 35 years it’s never ever been suggested before. So as an educator and an actual nail technician, I 100% suggest you go back and forth. There is no reason whatsoever to go one way. And so many reasons why you shouldn’t. One of the main reasons is, you will lose time, and that will result into losing money. As far as the e-file generating heat, absolutely nonsense. If you’re generating heat on your e-file, it has everything to do with your using it too high, or your bits are getting old or you’re using the wrong bits, or you’re pressing too hard. Just because something is being used fast does not mean it is good better or faster.
@@NailCareerEducation Agree, NCE Yet.. all these nailers on YT are like.."don't do it". haha Yes it can skip.. thats just doing it wrong.
So wish you could ship yours to the UK xx
I love those baby sanding bands. I think your price is reasonable. Nice video.
i love that you’ve been doing nails for so long, i love hearing about how much things have changed over time!! ❤❤
I use acetone to clean my bits. ❤
i also use aceton to clean the bits its the best
Love the 'baby' bits!!! I noticed you didn't prep the arbor band before you used it, is that step unnecessary with your bits?
Hey Susie I’m a DIYer!!! I’m left handed and have been considering doing dry manicure method. What are your thoughts on dry manicure I know it’s commonly done in Russia but it has been getting more common recently.
I want those baby bits! Really love your videos, thank you so much! I was wondering, do you happen to have any tips on how to remove the used arbor bands from the bits? I always have troubles with that...
I use pliers from hubby's tool kit 😅
😅 thank you
A staple remover works too. (Use whatcha got, right?!?)
@@tlcsthoughtsI’ll try it! 🙏☺️
I'm going with the side to side motion.
Fiiiirst 😊❤ thanks suzie !!
tank youy so much for your video the help me so mush for my self now i finished to lost my time and i lve your baby bits, sory my english is not good
I love cleaning my bits in acetone. Especially any diamond bits. It doesn’t take much to clog those, so acetone gets it right out.
I’m so excited about your baby arbor bands. I can’t wait to get them!
Hell ya that would be great to get cause I have little hands too
Why is the efile not available to ship to the UK? And when will it be available? 😍
I have ski slope nails, practically at a 45° angle, what bits would I use to get the cuticle area? When I try to keep everything level, and not dig into the nail at an angle, I always end up burning my nail bed, or filing down too far, what techniques could I use (so I can stop hurting myself)? Also, when it comes to tips I always have to overfill with glue if it's a full cover, or if it sits on the tip I have to trim the corners tilt it down, overfill the well to hold it in place, and hope for the best... There's got to be an easier way..
Will you be carrying any other color option’s for the e file in the future?
Hi Suzie, do you sell your E-File with a UK plug or would it only work with an adapter? Love Susie’s baby bits 🙊🙉🙈
Been looking for a nice e-file for personal use and would love to get it but im in Europe :( and even if it did ship, the import tax makes the price sad.
Love your channel! I'm in South Africa - do you sell your products internationally.
Yes, we try as much as possible but some countries are not very accepting and they just send the product back so we’ve had to eliminate those ones because it’s very costly
Great Info. I actually dislike salons and do my own now because they were always hurting me. Everytime I'd enter a salons i'd be anxious about if the artist was gentle or not. I'll never forget the lady doing my natural nails & I swear to God it felt like she was burning me. I told her & she acted like I was nuts. Said and done my nails were so filed down it might as well been just a layer of skin. Lazy techs use the highest speeds they can just to get stuff off & no care for damage/pain.
Ouch yes I’m sorry
Some techs stop learning and then this is what happens
I mean the info is out there
Suzie, does you mini sanding band and mandrel fit other drills?
Every nail drill yes
Suzie!!! Will your e-file ever be available in Europe? 😭
I so love you
I only do one way instead of back and forth as back and forth causes more heat. I use the Leraco e-file and it's also 35000rpm.
Actually it really doesn’t
Heat is caused by RPMs too high or wrong bits for the task or bits too old or leaving your drill too long in one spot
Suzie why you don’t ever use a Duster??
