    I have to say how stunning these videos of yours are. The angles, the technique, the tips and training, the photography, the cinematogrophy, the lights, the colors, the instruction, EVERY bit of it is excellent! This is not just another nail youtuber - this is art. Both of you are the greatest team, and we are entertained, enlightened, and fully engaged as your audience! Thanks for setting a high standard I doubt anyone else will reach. This is pure magic.

      Absolutely agree, everything down to the backdrop, lighting, etc is perfectly fine-tuned. Your husband clearly put a great deal of effort into becoming the world's best cameraman because he makes your work look even more beautiful than it already is, I would think every artist would kill to have such a superior cameraman and editor.

    I’m highly impressed with Cameraman’s first attempt! Suzie you are a true artist and an amazing educator! You give such great criticism without being condescending. You give real advice and reiterate how hard it is and that it’s okay to fail as long as you keep working at it. Thank you for being so kind with how you educate. It’s so much easier to take what you’re doing wrong when it comes in this delivery.

    Cameraman I think with all the years of filming Suzie is what helped you do as well as you did. I know that I say coodoos to you because while it wasn't right structurally, cosmetically it didn't look too bad. 😊

    this video really could not have come at a better time! i have my second set of hybrid gel nails i ever did on my nails right now, and i made sooooo many of cameraman’s mistakes. i learned so much from this! im so so excited to put what i’ve learned into practice and make different mistakes to grow and learn ☺️
    a quick question that maybe someone crawling through the comments can answer, or suzie if she sees this: is there any harm to doing fills at only a week? i noticed suzie said that she had about a week’s growth on the nail cameraman did, and i haven’t found anything in my learning and furious googling to the contrary, but i just want to be sure that there wouldn’t be any adverse effects to waiting just a week before going in to reshape or fill. thanks!

    • @NailCareerEducation
      @NailCareerEducation  Před 2 lety +26

      You can do a nail whenever you see fit. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8, or 9 weeks! Are used to have this one client that would come every two weeks for a fill and one day I just had to tell her you know you don’t really need a fill you could go another week and she said I know I’m picky I just want to do it now. I felt good because I cleared the air so she knew that I wasn’t trying to scam her and she verified that she’s OK with it because she’s particular. Everyone’s different. I failed clients a week or two sooner because they were going on a vacation they didn’t really need it they just wanted it current as possible. 👍🏼❤️great question

    Suzie, you've been my go to for nail techniques for several years now. Doing my nails makes a huge difference for me. I have terrible habits when it comes to picking at my cuticles. I started using hybrid gel after trying several products (each time using one of your videos) Keeping my nails done not only stops me from picking, but also gives me a boost of confidence when people compliment me and I can say I do them myself. ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you so much for these videos.

I just did my left hand today (my right hand I did 2 days ago) it was in acrylic but what you said about color difference because of the wrong application I learned a lot from that. I know what I did wrong there, it was my right hand and I’m a lefty so it’s harder to make it right. I have never seen a natural nail with a high apex. Is it just me? When I do my nails, I always try to keep the sidewalls and keep them narrow and flat. I do get a lot of compliments. I would LOVE that long rounded bit that you’ve been using. I have so much gel nail items- but your products look incredible. I do wish the kit had the clear over black. The amounts and sizes- wow. I’m going to throw everything I have out- I am having a terrible allergic reaction to something. I might need the glass gel- I’m not sure.

    30:14 is EXACTLY where I mess up! Right where the side free edge meets the nail bed! It chips there as i get it too thin when I do almond or coffin.

    This gel looks so much easier than acrylic. I am self taught. I think the hybrid gel would be a lot faster for me

    Hi Suzie I love watching your videos. I'm starting to do my own nails. But I have a quick question.Might sound silly. I hear people saying that they use rubbing alcohol to clean the nail before applying nail dehydrator and primer. But I would just like to know can you use hand sanitizer (spray)? I watched a video where you said that one shouldn't use acetone,because it can cause lifting.
    I can't seem to find rubbing alcohol. So any substitute would really be appreciated

    Yknow... I was gonna get a cheap polygel kit off Amazon but then I figured might as well pay the extra for professional products and have something that lasts right? And also having all the stuff in an easy kit is nice too 👌

    Suzie i love yoir videos. If its not too.much, when youre showing.something specific can.you add.circles, arrows and wording in contrasting colors to show exactly what areas your referencing. Im very visual and this would help so much.

    Hey Susie! I have a question about the EZ Gel. I’m noticing that after I do my nails and they feel real good and strong, after a few days they start getting flexible and bendy. Am I doing something wrong in the application process? Could it be my bath water making them do that or something else I’m unaware of?
