- Simone Ashley is opening up about the instant chemistry she had with "Bridgerton" co-star Jonathan Bailey. "It was from get-go in our chemistry read I would say…the camera on us, and we did a couple of scenes, and we just really clicked," she told Access Hollywood at The Queen's Ball: A Bridgerton Experience. "Johnny is an incredible actor. He's so generous, and he was just so easy to work with, so effortless." Simone added.

You can tell she really understands the story and Kate's character. Simone just exudes confidence and grace and not to mention, I can't take my eyes off her gorgeous face!😍 Loved this interview so much.
Simone Ashley is a beguiling actor . I predict huge roles for her in the near future. I was completely mesmerized by her performance in every scene. While easily one of the most attractive women on the screen these days , her nuanced expressions ,captivating eyes ,and dazzling smile combine to leave an indelible impression on the audience phenomenal performance!
When Simone mentioned 🥹 “having a baby” I lost it😭. We can tell she has so much LOVE for Kate! For BRIDGERTON in general. It’s obvious she is just as EXCITED as we are for her to be RETURNING for S3🥰 And I adore this interviewer… (can’t c her face) but it was so nice of her assuring Simone she’s doing great during this interview🥰

Goddamn, this woman is very special. She is absolutely magnetic, and her charisma is so powerful yet so gentle. I have fallen head over heels for her and I'm a straight woman, but she is just lovely in every way. The way she speaks is so captivating, even just her words are like poetry, she's so eloquent and expressive. And her eyes, I could simply drown in them. I hope I see her in a thousand other things, she is a goddess.

She is so unbelievably stunning. Absolutely adore the casting decision. It is not at all lost on me how important it is to see a dark-skinned south Asian woman, no less as a viscountess.
Why is she so much different when in acting and when she's in an interview?! As Kate, she's the most fearless and responsible character ever could stand as an elder sister. When she's Simone, she's like the most vulnerable being that all you wanted to do is to protect. Oh my goodness, I can't stop adoring this girl anymore!
Simone (and johnny) really understand their characters that's why you can feel it through the screen, their chemistry, the hatred, the attraction between kathony, how they fall in love. Hope to see more kathony in next seasons LIKE WE BETTER BE. Also they getting more projects.
She is a bubbly, humble character and a very friendly person. She never takes credit for herself. But she played the role of Kate brilliantly and she is beautiful.
I just love how she is so selfless and even though the questions are about how she feels, she has to mention her other cast members.

To be honest she has a fairly standard middle class home counties female accent. There's plenty of women knocking around the South of England that sound like her. Not often with the acting talent though.
Simone's level of understanding on Bridgerton's scenes is very composed and literal. I loved how she spoke from a different angle to the meaning they give out.
She’s very beautiful and gorgeous without make-up.

The things I could teach you..." I love Simone, she's the opposite of shallow and knows and understands Kathony in another whole level ♥️

She reminded me of my one negative about the KAnthony romance. Kate was allowed to acknowledge Anthony being handsome, however Anthony NEVER referred to Kate's obvious beauty. Did the writers want us to love Kate's other attributes only?
I also noticed it! I heard that in the books Kate is not very beautiful, nobody really notices her. SO much that when they get married and Anthony tells her "you're so beautiful" Kate thinks he's thinking about another woman. Obviously on the show it's very different, Simone is stunning, would be very hard not to notice, but i think they still wanted to show how Anthony falls in love with her personality, beside her obvious beauty
