- I finally finished my 1JZGTE swap into my 1989 Supra. The swap is pretty much finished. The only acception might be, the car doens't have a perfect idle yet, the tach doesn't work, and I couldn't figure out the reverse lights either. I love this car and now the 1jz completes the whole package.

I'm sure you'll come around to going single turbo sooner or later; when you do, I suggest the new Gen2 Garrett GTX3576r or GTX3076r. These would be great turbos on a 1JZ!

Hey man, I know you posted this a few years back but I just swapped my MK3 with a 1jz vvti and I have the same fans and shroud as you but my car will not stay cool. How did yours hold up with them?
All good brother. Those fans rocked for me. They never gave me any issues whatsoever, and I live in one of the hottest cities in the world. You probably have an air bubble or something. Or maybe they went super cheap over the years and changed the fan manufacturer or something. Thanks for watching!
I’ve changed just about everything on the car regarding the cooling system and bled it about 3 times, I will try again tho. Running out of ideas 😂. Thank you for the response

How did you get the 7mgte power steering reservoir mounted and working? Does it leak? I'm doing a 1jz swap and have a 7mgte reservoir laying around that I would prefer to make work with the set up.
I made a bracket out of aluminum that mounted to two of the threaded factory holes on the fender that I could then mount the reservoir to. You can make cardboard template pretty easily. If you have a vice, 4” grinder, a hammer and a drill your set. No I never had any issues.
