This song was written specifically as the Main Theme OST song for the K-drama "Jirisan" so yeah it has super k-drama vibes!! And our boy Jin singing the MAIN OST for a popular K-drama is just awe-inspiring!! He really has the type of voice that shines in ballads for dramas!

A month after I discovered BTS which was in 2019 Jin became my bias and that has never changed. His voices touches my soul and he is the most kindhearted man I have ever seen. I feel like Jin is a leader in a different aspect. The members learn a lot from Jin: Jimin I learned about happiness from Jin, V said Jin heals us and makes us laugh and J-hope said they wouldn't have made it without Jin. Also all Jin's solo songs: Moon, Awake, Tonight and Abyss are all amazing songs

Jin is very mature (him being playful with the maknaes are just to make them comfortable), members go to him when they want to say something to the agency (they have mentioned it multiple times), he is very responsible.
Jin is my favourite vocalist because of all the reasons you stated. He's probably the one I relate to the most. He knows his insecurities, he works hard to improve and he wants to make us proud. But most of all I think that out of all of them, he shows us that he's learnt to love himself the most.

I really love his personality and how he care for the other members and you're right, there's something about him that will made you look for him and his response for every event in their videos and he made me want to know them more and more so 5 years after... Yes jin is indeed very good at English, he even studied in Australia, he can easily strike up convo in English when they are in foreign countries by himself (see bon voyage in Malta) and make friends. When they first went to America rm and jin were the main members who spoke in interviews

Jin has always been my bias. His voice is also been my favourite of the vocal line. He has been a beautiful singer for many years now.
So beautifully sang by Jin! He is going finer as the years go by. I love his goofy character too, yet he can be that reliable Hyung to say what RM couldn't say. I haven't heard JK praise him as much as he does RM, but you can tell how Jin loves JK and back.

I totally agree with you. Just by looking at the performances, the focus is not always on him. But as we dive deeper into the other series, his personality really shines the most. He is an absolute gem of a person and I adore him.

I think although RM is the leader i think the others still look up to Jin and respect him as the oldest, he is able to be goofy with the younger ones along with turning around and being responsible. I only started listening to BTS from just a month ago, but I invested my time a lot listening & looking for their stuff. Most eye-opening journey so far even though it takes my focus away! Jin is officially my favourite member. His song 'Awake' cemented that fact. The lyrics really hits me & I think you should react to it. Worth it.

Hope you guys will check out more of Jin's solo stuff: Awake, Epiphany, Tonight, Abyss, Moon, his covers Autumn outside of the Post Office, Mom, I love you, his Collab with V It's gonna be you and his Collab with Suga and Jung look - So far away. Their old vocal coach said Jin didn't improve his vocals his vocals transformed over time. Man's been called Silver Voice Kim Seokjin by someone associated with the Grammys and then some. Jin works hard. He puts so much emotion into his songs it's beautiful. You should check out a video about his high notes.
Well Jin definitely worked hard on his vocals but it’s quite a misconception that jin hadn’t had innate sense of singing. No one in Bts was vocally trained before. Many Armys will comment such things as “ he couldn’t sing or dance before” bc they fail to realize that 1 : No one in Bts had a professional background in music not just Jin and 2 : that no to little singing experience doesn’t equal no singing talent. He was a good singer, he had the foundation to work on and of course worked hard and refined his craft but he could always sing, there are many debut videos that show that. One is “you’re my” performance from 2013. Also the former vocal teacher that taught the vocal line (jk and v) besides Jimin said that he was her best student and the easiest to train. She also said that he rather than improved transformed his voice, and just needed to learn a more a melodic vocalization that was so opposite to acting ( he studied acting at that time). Jin is the most technique driven singer, he learnt singing more from a technical standpoint and is incredibly good at that. He was also specifically recognized by the Grammys and declared “silver voice” in 2018. Now he’s the most critically acclaimed member as well. He himself even now can be very deprecating or more so humble but please you shouldn’t fall into the repeated narratives that ppl like to toss around.

When I am new to a channel and they are reacting to BTS older videos that barely have Jin in them and they gush over everyone and don't even mention Jin's name. I always smile and said to myself, Jin will get to you, I am gonna give you a few weeks. Sometimes it takes less time too. He just grows on you and pulls you in. You cant escape baby.

Jin's "Moon" is literally #5 in Rolling Stone Magazine's 75 Greatest Boy Band Songs List in 2020. Jin is not underrated to music critics.
@@AlfonsoEspina i didn't say it was underrated I said it's not as appreciated as it should be. And ofc Moon would be big it was on the Map of the Soul 7 which is their best seller. But songs like Tonight & Awake aren't appreciated enough neither is Jin as a vocalist.

But to speak the truth I noticed Jin when I heard him sing Epiphany and Truth Untold live... OMG....He was awesome!!!!! This track is his first solo ost and it is another one wich he sang with V and it called "it's definetely you" .

It's ironic though; the very video they talk so much about how they have started to notice Jin more, they talk and fool around the whole thing, even singing over him on the very first listen. Understandable, but very disappointing. It was the perfect song for them to realize that Jin has more to offer as a member than his wonderful personality they recently noticed. Personally, I was *blown away* by this song. I don't think anybody else could have done this particular song as well as he did, let alone better it. Just goes to show how important it is for him to have more songs that are suited to his voice.
