We had to come out of hiding to review Jin’s latest masterpiece 😁 Yes, we realize we paused the video before the final part. We honestly just got caught up in our discussion of the song at the end and forgot to press play again during the recording. But fear not my people - we’ve been listening to the full song a lot and love all of it 🤓👍🏽

I was just despairing that you did not get to the last ladadada part...
It actually indicates SOS message in morse code and the different tones indicates the stages of helplessness, despair and acceptance a person goes through while waiting for someone to come through
(It's in the context of the drama where people get lost in the mysterious mount jirisan)

This is a really difficult song to pull off but he did it. American musical director James Osorio has said that Jin with his acting background is able to make his songs feel like an emotionel monologue and I think that's so spot on. 💜

I've read somewhere that this very personal peculiarity is due to his acting background because he doesn't just sing, he recites the sentences and I found it quite accurate as explanation.

The la dda dda dda part is actually the Morse code for SOS and it means a lot since the drama is about a rescue team, and the main character is currently in a coma due to an accident..
So meaningful and heartbreaking at the same time😭😭😭

This is beautiful song and Jin was able in the 4 mins able to narrate the whole drama with all the emotions. This is a masterpiece. Knet gave Jin a new nickname “Hidden Jewel of BTS”

I told my friend that I wondered if they wrote it with Jin in mind, because it is just so perfect for him.
I could just imagine jin singing this on stage and everyone's just quietly listening in awe, then gives him a standing ovation after the performance. Saw this in a video of jin singing epiphany in one concert, i forgot where, but it was like time stopped, army audience frozen & just jin singing with an orchestra until he finished the song then all you can hear were applause from army :) so much respect for jin's vocal talent

I have high praises for each and every one of the BTS members. Acknowledging Jin's talent also means that i believe in BTS as a whole.

Jin had never sung before BTS. Luckily, Big Hit assigned him a vocal coach that discovered his amazing voice. Thank you to the voice teacher. Thank you to whomever hired Jin for this OST. I am greedy. I want more!!! And thank you for Jin for working hard, learning, practicing, believing in himself, hope, loving himself, improving, and never giving up. This song is perfectly tailored to that TV drama. I'm watching it on Viki. Jirisan is the beloved mountain region in S.Korea. It's about the rescue crews working in that mountain region. The production on that show is top notch and when you use headphones, you're basically in it, you are out of breath just like the rescuers running up and down the tracks. The sound engineering is superb.

This song touched my soul. Jin makes you feel this song so much. I just found out 10 minutes before watching this that we lost one of my favorite patients at work, a small 29 y/o downs syndrome boy who has been in and out of the hospital a lot lately. I'm heart broken and this just hits hard.

He could have sung this song 5 years ago, but he could not have given anywhere near this kind of power and finesse. It is so admirable how hard he continues to work on his craft. In both singing and dancing, he could be understandably satisfied with where he is, but it is clear he continues to put in the time and effort to truly be the best he can be.

I agree wholeheartedly with everything you guys said. I really do feel like this song was truly made for Jin, it suits his voice so, so, so well and he sang it so beautifully. Personally, I love how we got to hear quite a bit of his range in this song the most. We all know how he can sing high notes and sound absolutely angelic as he does, but I’ve always wondered what it would be like if they explored his lower register and this song was a perfect balance of his higher and lower register and I just love it a whole lot. I’m so proud of him and I can’t wait to see what else he puts out and the other guys puts out as well. Much love fellas!
