I really do not try to decipher videos but this kind of have me thinking of like six sense type of vibe. it seems like on the last part when he was about to walk out the door with the young lady, it was almost like she was saying ok you ready let go. i think they were going to another universe or their version of heaven :) RM /NAMJOON mind is created, and he will create a song to really make u think .. so, it's no wrong or right answer, it's just IS :)

RM talked about it in his LIVEs a lot about how turning 30 was a huge moment for self identification. He also said if life is a soup then he’s a fork. Seems like this video is about coming to terms with that sense of self and where you are in whatever chapter of life you’re in and how it ultimately leads you to the same place. That door is constantly popping up. And at the end there’s all these different scenes on a stage set. And that’s life. Everyone is putting on an act. And each act is a part of an unread script. We are all just playing our roles in life. But you can be present in those moment s and enjoy it or you can always be on the search for the next act the next scene. Either way you end up where you’re meant to be regardless. Be it marriage or college or career or just playing in the streets or starting a family or staying by yourself, at the end you end up where you belong anyways and who you belong with and as long as you don’t end up alone, it’s all good. You can look back on that life with no retreats. Namjoon is brilliant with his play on word from Korean to English here. Sometimes nothing matters and yet it all matters. Over thinking it or not caring at all doesn’t change the outcome. Really love how he portrays the lyrics so cleanly and yet he allows the emotion to be interpreted many ways. Beautifully done

RM is so introspective. My interpretation of the video is he’s struggling to find his place in the world and being consumed with doing the traditional or what society norms expect. It may or may not be something he’s interested in, but he feels pressure to do that. He’s running around because he’s confused, lost, looking for a way out. He doesn’t know where or in which direction to go because so many people tell him he should be this and do that or are expecting him to do certain things. Especially the scene with him in the crib. Because he is in fact, a grown man, however, tons of people still treat him and the other members childlike. it’s hard for them to break into adulthood because they’re infantilized. When he sees himself and smiles, he finally discovers who he is. When he turns around and sees the girl, in my opinion, he is combining his masculine and feminine energy and comfortable with his decisions about his life. She could also represent Army because we are a considerable part of his life. After he recognizes and gets comfortable with himself, he re-shows every scene again with him being happy to be there, My interpretation is him saying; if I choose to do these things, I’ll be okay with that; if I don’t, I’ll be okay with that too. And then when they finally get to the door, it’s like, alright, now that I found myself both masculine and feminine energy and I always have Army with me, I can go and tackle whatever challenge in whatever arena I end up in. HIS BRAIN SHOULD BE STUDY!
