After war of Hormone MV taehyung got the title of "idol textbook" even the director of the MV said that he never seen an idol like V and he deserves that title. Like imagine they weren't even that big those days and V was so young but the industry was already whipped for him 🥺

All the criticism and controversy to WAR OF HORMONES was absurd, as woman I didn't see any offensive word against woman because it only talks about PUBERTY, let's be honest at that age our hormones are like popcorn and they talk about it that's all, but of course haters gonna hate. JUST ONE DAY is the opposite (it's about heart) to WAR OF HORMONES( which is about hormones) , because they talk about teen's love from a different point of view, innocence, romanticism. I love the way they could talk about two different important stages of adolescence. Both videos were perfect for these two great songs. 💜💜
I heard they apologized for writing this song. "21st century girls" is about empowering women. I don't think "war of hormones" actually their point of view about girls. It's more like a teenager's point of view about girls

@@miamihottiehotline cuz ppl view it as wrong. No matter what explanation they give, if they others strongly accuse them for misogyny, there's nothing for them to do except apologize. That's also the reason why RM start to consult with Professor regarding women if I'm not mistaken about his lyrics. Cuz he's traumatize by this where it doesn't come across his mind for the lyrics to be misogyny but not for others.
V's part in Just One Day was him and RM actually and it sounded amazing!
There are dance practices for both of these songs that are awesome. Just One Day is hilarious because first V and then the others can't stop laughing through the whole thing. And War of Hormone has a Halloween dance practice which I believe has Suga dressed like Chucky and it is hilarious. Catch those on youtube when you get a chance.

Actually the just one day one looks like they spliced a couple dance practices together because V is losing it and then he isn't and then he is losing it again towards the end. I would love to see the full dance practice where he is losing it. I watch that any time I want a good laugh. I love it when they are goofing around.

Brandon, you were spot on with interpreting these two songs!!! War of Hormones is one of my favorite MV! Unfortunately, BTS caught slack for this song but Aneesa addresses this in her Rise of Bangtan series. She is a phenomenal editor you guys will definitely enjoy!
Ron, The Scarlet Letter “is about the consequences of Hester Prynne's adulterous affair with the reverend Arthur Dimmesdale, borne out as she gives birth to their child and is forced to wear a Scarlet Letter [A] as a public shaming.” I think the R on the shirt of the girl was meant to represent her High School. It was a common practice in the 1950’s which is the era the video copies.

There was another song too that was worse. RM addressed the controversy in a talkshow and he was really good, he took all the blame and said that they now had a professor of women's studies look over the lyrics of their songs. And the song converse high was kinda an apology song to the women who they offended. I really had more respect for BTS and RM after reading it all to see he handled it with maturity and humility and used it to grow.
Yoongi is the main songwriter of Just one day. He wrote it while he was on hospital.

When they released the MV, In October 2014, JK had just turned 17 (international). Very cute all of them.
I love Just One Day, old school Bangtan are so cute💖 Just One Day also plays on words and gestures. The shadow of the large clock didn't have hands but they made specific hand gestures, the vertical shadows can also be interpreted as bars, caging them in, or suggesting that they are out of time, etc. You know, all the subtle Bangtan things they do. The rise of Bangtan is a fantastic series made by ARMY and really delves into the what/why of Kpop as a whole. There are two war of hormone dance practices on BANGTANTV, one it's a Halloween version and the other is called "real war ver." and both are very funny to watch.
War of Hormone dance practice real war version is, hands down, my favorite dance practice.
I have no idea how it plays into the Rise of Bangtan but watching more of their music videos always helps with understanding them and what Army are talking about in general

Suga wrote that song Just One Day. He wrote that when he was hospitalized when he had surgery due to his apendicitis in the past. They really are talented... This is one of the many firsts BTS songs that I love. The choreography in this MV is cuteness overload to all 7 boys. I love War of Hormones too...its like young boys falling or admiring a girl...sort of puppy love or early love...they are all soooo cute.

Tangent but I just pulled the OT7 photocard with the Just One Day 'fits and set. 😊 I love both of these songs so much.
These two songs are considered BTS classics. Like, every army somehow becomes fluent in Korean once Just One Day comes on LOL. BTS recently performed Just One Day in last year's BangBangCon for their 7th anniversary. War of Hormone is unfortunately not performed by BTS anymore because it was caught in a controversy which will be explained in the Rise of Bangtan documentary. You're right when you said BTS don't make songs fixated on the 'boy likes girl' theme anymore, however they did make a lot of songs like that in their early days which are super good. I'd recommend listening to their older albums like Skool Luv Affair and Dark & Wild. It's old but gold. You'll hear about it a lot in the Rise of Bangtan docuseries.
Only proves that BTS is versatile. So much different genres and themes and concept. Name me another group with thesame versatility. Ill consider them.

Just one day is my first favorite bts song and i kept on listening to that song during my first year stanning the group💜 its simple ans i really appreciate their vocals with this song.. and they are so cute..
War of hormone - v's deep voice is just mesmerizing.. i really love his deep voice. I think you'll know more about this song when you watch rise of bangtan.😊
"Just One Day" was aimed to showcase the vocals and, more importantly, BTS needed to come up with a slow-rock and RnB songs to give them time to slow down during concerts as ARMY would know that BTS' dance choreography is really hard cores.. JHope mainly wrote this song and composed its melody. RM and resident composer of BigHeat PDogg co-wrote the song. This was the BTS era where RM, Suga and JHope had to work til late at night to compose and write their songs because they could not afford to hire or partners with writers and composers at that time.. At that time, V, Jimin and JK were very young then as they were in HighSchool and JK was in middle school. And, Jin was still trying find the potential of his beautiful voice at that time.
They were so young man🤧 now they've all grown up....its so nice to see them going this far and being with them throughout the journey💜

War of hormone was written after they did a reality series in LA called American Hustle Life which I personally enjoyed. Anyway they had to ask girls to be in their video as a mission and they're so funny around these young women when they show up to film the video lmao I won't spoil it. Anyway I guess they were having a "war of hormone" that day and RM put it in a song
