Follow us as we venture over the Texas FM 457 bridge. The locals, in the Sargent, Texas area, like to call it the Hot Wheels track! It's the only double corkscrew bridge in the US. On the gulf side of the bridge is the small, very nice, full hook-up Sargent Beach RV Park that accommodates seven RVs including big rigs. To get there you need to climb a 360-degree pigtail corkscrew to the top deck seven stories above the Intracoastal Waterway then descend down another pigtail corkscrew. overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Be prepared, because the RV park entrance is directly off the base of the bridge. You'll need to make reservations in advance, especially after this video goes viral (lol)!

We had never been to this area, and were pleasantly surprised.

Very cool, nice job, bet you had to use the exhaust brake on the downhill side.

Yes we did. It was spooky when at the top and there was nothing but the gulf on the horizon.
