With volatility of the product, and little regulation on the markets, there is too much variation in predicting your investment causing it to be more akin to gambling than accurately taking market risks.
Wasn’t one of xQc’s takes on Tate was that he was scamming kids through his hustlers university thing? But when Logan blatantly lies to his followers about this zoo project, it’s the consumers fault?? Don’t get me wrong, anyone who puts trust in to Logan is clearly lost. But how is this not bad on Logan’s end? They always come after people for “scamming their audience” but then shit like this happens and it’s “you’re dumb for even trusting this shit”

True but personal responsibility to be aware of where you throw your money especially if it’s a world known to be filled with bad faith actors is also extremely important. @@nyzrhin first year of law school, in one of the first courses (contract law), we received an example of someone who went into a car dealership and told them he was interested in buying the car, but later and not right now (there was no written agreement).
But later he decided he didn't want the car, but the dealership took him to court with the idea that they lost the chance of selling said vehicle due to them expecting him to buy it. A witness also testified as such.
The man was ordered to buy the car.
I can see that happening, Logan taking more profit from the project than the dev. Then the dev to secure his hard work on the actual software side said fuck that and took off.

He's not wrong, verbal contracts are legally binding but obviously difficult to prove happened - hence why having a witness is good.
@@HoovaHee if everything was written, this wouldn't have happened and the coders would have had easier ways to prove Paul's system is a fraud without needing to steal the code or wait for someone to interview them to prove innocence.
When things are this massive with this enormous amount of money, it's stupid not to put everything into a written contract if you really want not to get scammed.

It's not that uncommon for shorter work deals to be struck verbally only. And in a case this guy could likely prove that there was a deal in place, even if there's no solid evidence of a physical contract.

I understand X's sentiment as well as the comments but if you think of it from a different angle, most people who invest in crypto try to get in early in order to actually profit. I would actually think pre release sales for this project would be considered more reliable than things such as boredapes before they released. Makes sense to me that people invest with the idea of Logan Pauls reliability and credibility being on the line. If X were to sell a coin everyone would buy and no matter what happens they wouldnt apply the same logic. Again I agree to an extent but also you have to use your brain and take certain risks and having someone like Logan involved optically seems like such a small chance of being a scam.
