    Thank you very much Sir for the video. This is by far the best, most informative, simple and cheap om606 mechanical pump conversion video on the net. Most videos are about "insane" power and very expensive conversions only.Nothing for om606 lovers who want simple, "cheap" low down power conversions like in this video. All along it seemed as if without dpuks, dieselmeken and mynas very expensive pumps there is no other way to run om606 with mechanical yet there is a stock pump that already have alda and only needs elements swapped. Thank you ones again

    Thanks for this video and explaining. I have seen from car inspection histories with that engine inspection fails because of exessive smoke, now I know why.

    Try bigger pump elements! 7mm and you get 300hp or more.

    Nice job. My 603 is asking for a conversion. Soon. Can you just change the valve cover to one that has a good breather? My 603 is smoking and consuming oil now. Mine is the same color as yours is..

      Hi.
      New cover is quite expensive.
      Something about $600.
      Other covers from junk is at least 20 years old.
      So i decided to swap the engine.

    Hello, thank you very much for the explanation because I have a w140 350 engine and I have a high oil consumption but when I remove the oil dipstick it does not blow vapors.     Did you swap oil pan and oil pump or they fit the W140? I want to do the same conversion on my 3.5

      Yes pump and pan from w140.
      W210 will not fit.

    Hi im from saudi arabia, i have om603 on my w140, i have leaks in the fuel pump, my question is : can i take it out to find or fix the problem or its electric complicated?

      Hello
      Yes you can remove it for fixing.
      But you need observe all the marks to put it back in correct position.

      If it leaks fuel from high pressure pipe outlets, you don't need to remove it.
      You can fix it in car.

    Hello, I’m from Brazil, here is very rare a om 603 anda om 606.
    My question is: I have a block of om 603 with original pump.
    For swap to 606, a I need a head of 606 and what more? You can pass a list please?

    Hi, Sorry been so long, but I have had health problems, I have now got the engine in and running, but still haven't sorted the throttle cable, and don't know where the kick down cable goes, my biggest problem is I had the fuel pump done by diesel pump UK, and I am totally at a loss where the vacuum lines connect, do you have a diagram of all the vacuum line connections? thanks for your help Mal

      @@amf4591 Hi, no not sorted, the only thing I got working was the engine shut off, the rev counter, fuel usage, oil pressure, water temp, don't work, tried grounding the wires, because I think that is the way the gauges work, but nothing, this has become a nightmare conversion.

      @@amf4591 also I'm not getting vacumme to shut the vehicle off and transmission is shifting hard is there anything that needs to be done on the vacuum system thx

      @@amf4591 good to know. No im planing Engine swap in a volvo c303. And they Got adaptor kit for om603 to original gearbox. So now i know i can choose om606 Or om603 depending on what Engine i can get a hold on. Car is equiped with a 3L 6 cyl gasoline Engine... Thirsty...
