- Recently I realized that Kakashi is one of the most mysterious and mystifying characters in Naruto anime. It seems that only recently we discussed why he's wearing the mask, and before that, there were lots of videos where we tried getting to know his story better. After reviewing the Hurricane Chronicles Series, I noticed one more exciting moment. Watching Guy's brows, I questioned myself: " Why hasn't Kakashi ever deactivate his Sharingan?"

So if Obito gave kakashi two sharingans that would mean he's saying "I'm out of chakra" every 5 seconds like Sasuke in Boruto
Probably would’ve died from chakra drain and or never survived passed a few minutes cuz of the abundance of chakra drainage

Kakashi can’t turn off his sharingan he’s a non-Uchiha and uchihas have a special gene that gives them the ability to turn it off

Kakashi was my favorite character because he was the only one that really looked like a ninja, he reminded me of Rikimaru from Tenchu game series. Its a shame the creators took away his sharingan, he looked so cool with just one and a scar beneath it :)
He is like one of the few true ninjas in the whole series. Only others who can be considered really ninja like are Itachi, kabuto, Jiraiya, and Kashin Koji.

Long answer: Uchiha's have a specific gene that allow them to activate and deactivate their sharingan, Kakashi is not an Uchiha, and thus, does not have the gene to deactivate it.

@@bgdixienormas1625 You should be able to put 2 and 2 together perhaps you have noticed kakashi’s name is hatake and not uchiha that enough should tell you why he isn’t able to turn off the sharingan
He never lost his eye. It wasn’t functional, so obito gave him his left eye. Kakashi isn’t an uchiha, so he can’t properly use the sharingan. Naruto is the one who restored kakashi’s original eye in the war.

In order to have the Sharingan placed into the eye socket means he lost his eye, weather it was damaged to the point he couldn't use it he still had to have his original eye removed and replaced with Obitos eye. which means he lost his eye.

Short answer: It isn't his sharingan, it was Obito's from when he supposedly died (also, he got double mangekyou from obito during the fight with Kaguya)

That explains alot. I may miss Kakashi being the copy cat ninja. But Kakashi should be happy too. And I'm glad he is retired and able to rest and have fun. He worked very hard for it. A excellent video.

Well he has been living with sharingan ever since then, so he has been fighting & training using the sharingan nearly most of his life, most of his growing periode he use sharingan and then he suddenly lost it when he already reached his prime, so it's only to be expected that he became weaker without it. If he never had a sharingan I'm sure he'll still be as strong as he was with the sharingan just with a slightly different method of fighting.

Kakashi has been explained that since he doesn’t have the cell to deactivate the sharinggan so he covered it up to minimize the amount of charka needed to live
I believe he covers it to block the sharingans power since it’s always active. People seem to forget that kakashi is perceiving the world slower when he uses the sharingan so it makes sense he covers his eye to stop the constant power

When you have 1 Sharingan, you can't turn it off and when he got double, Obito only borrowed him his chakra, now he's without Sharingan

For the people that don’t know how the sharingan works I’ll explain it :
Kakashi isn’t an uchiha therefor can’t use the sharing like an uchiha.
The reason kakashi is so good with the sharingan was stated in OG naruto which was he had the sharingan since he was around 14 (don’t quote me on the age) so he has a lot of experience with it.
An actual uchiha can use the sharingan at will as it is there genetics that gives them the sharingan and allows them to unlock it.
Also side note implanted dojutsu are constantly feeding off of the users chakra, we se this when Ao sees through danzo bandages to see shisui’s eye (ep 201) he also uses seals to make his sharingans on his arm deactivate .
Kakashi isn't a Uchiha, therefor he does not have the special gene that a Uchiha has, which allows them to turn the Sharingan on and off.
How he used them both to this day still confuses me like he only used kamui like 3-4 times from what I remember and would be hospitalized but he suddenly gets two and makes a fucking perfect susanoo😂

Short answer: He can't.
Long answer: Only an uchiha has the ability to deactivate the sharingan. As Kakashi is not an uchiha and taking his sharingan from Obito he couldnt deactivate it.
Looking back actually both of those are short answers.

He didn’t deactivate it because he couldn’t. It wasn’t originally his eye so the sharingan would always be active. That’s why he covered it.

1. It is not his Sharingan, It's Obito's Sharingan, and as it was given by him it cannot be turned off
