    for real I prefer to watch your videos for Revit professional certification exam more than other channels but I hope you make a playlist for Revit professional certification exam -Preparation- so we can watch it as a playlist

      That is a pretty good idea! That is something I can start to put together!

      @@ArchitectureVanguard I think you have already done more than 60% of the topics of this exam but you need to collect them together in one playlist and add the rest of them later on ...
      and I suggest you give me your email so I can send you a PDF file for the Revit exam roadmap

    Interesting presentation. All went well for the first part of the presentation, but then went haywire when attempting to 'Flex' your sheet. I am sure all offices will have a title sheet for each of the common size sheets rather than indulge in the exercise of stretching title sheets. Technically interesting though!!

    Thanks for the tips! I've been working in Revit for a long time, but haven't had to create a title block since I was in college. I understood the basics, but you're video was a great refresher! Keep up the good work!

    I figured that what you have to do is to create two refference lines only, on the corner of bottom right, Those will anchor the whole title block to that fixed position, and will keep its position while you change the overall dimensions of the paper

    hey can you do it with none, instead of using a given template !

    • @ArchitectureVanguard
      @ArchitectureVanguard  Před 3 lety

      As in can you start from scratch? Of course! You can have a title block with a bunch of hidden items if you want to.

      I thought same... This is not a custom title block video. This video is about how to edit revit's template.

    Great job, thank you.
    Can you kindly teach us how to extract lines from an inserted DWG file in revit?
    Thank you a lot

    I used this Titleblock , my Labels/Font changes once I send it to Print PDF I used 22 by 34?

    • @ArchitectureVanguard
      @ArchitectureVanguard  Před 2 lety

      Interesting. I have seen this before. Usually it's simply restarting revit and you are good. Could be reinstalling print drivers though.

    Can you add filled region in that right area, where the text is located.

    My reference lines are not associating with the block, after creating the reference around the block it only is resizing the reference lines and not the block???

    • @ArchitectureVanguard
      @ArchitectureVanguard  Před 2 lety

      Title blocks are a bit weird. Best thing I can say is align and lock or add dimensions and lock them in place.

  • @Jyroskope
    @Jyroskope Před 2 lety

    You locked both left and right outer Title Block lines to the Reference Lines after aligning them. How come it only grew to the right when you change the parameter value? Reference lines always confuse me...

    • @ArchitectureVanguard
      @ArchitectureVanguard  Před 2 lety

      Title blocks are particularly confusing. I did that to lock the size of it is all.

    Dear Sir, If you could help me, I will donate ! I have 20 buildings on my project and the idea is to use one title block. Based on type label list, I have found only sheet name and sheet number only that will change per building type. I also need a separate label that can change as well, i.e. Building A or B or C. Please advise?

    • @ArchitectureVanguard
      @ArchitectureVanguard  Před rokem

      For that I would use an instanced based project parameter that is specifically for the category, "Sheets". This will allow you to add any info you want per sheet.

    "How to create a custom title block", goes ahead and customize an already made block :D hehehe funny. Any chance you will create a custom title block from scratch....?

    • @ArchitectureVanguard
      @ArchitectureVanguard  Před 2 lety

      Haha you're right. :D I would almost never say to start from scratch for time's sake but that is completely possible. Another reason I say that is because you need some of the basics of the template that ships with Revit like a rectangle (likely) a simple dimensions to set boxes.

    Cab you do a little talking and a lot more working? This video can easily be 10 min instead of 30

      What he meant is have some planing on what are you saying... Speaking on the fly is what made it 30 min

  • @maquindesign9158
    @maquindesign9158 Před rokem +1

    This is not about building a custom title block. All those labels are there because you used a template.

    • @ArchitectureVanguard
      @ArchitectureVanguard  Před rokem

      Right, everything likely starts with a template, it’s up to you as to what you want to include.
