Terrible Teddy is composed by perfumer Quentin Bisch and it's a wonderful, ultra-masculine Oriental Woody fragrance. What another wonderful review Sebastian! This was great! I love Penhaligons and own several of their masterpieces! It is hard to pick a favorite but I really love The Tragedy of Lord George, Elixir, Sartorial, and Endymion! I have not had the chance to try Terrible Teddy but he has been on my list for a while now! Definitely one I want to try! The most masculine fragrance I own would have to be a couple different ones... Bentley for Men Intense, Bentley Absolute, Gucci Guilty Absolute, and Amouage Interlude for Men. That was tough though, because scent is scent to me, so I wear whatever I feel like, doesn't matter if it is for women or men. Thank you Sebastian for another great review... it was great, as always. My most masculine fragrance is L'Artisan Timbuktu. My favorite that I own is Orange Blossom, but I really enjoyed testing Juniper Sling. I'd love to try Heartless Helen at some point too! Great video as always, my most masculine fragrances are Tom Ford Tuscan Leather, Lalique Encre noire and Giorgio Armani Eau pour Home vintage edition, Terrible Teddy sound like kind of fragrance, I like dark dusty incense, green metalic incense and also the church incense, but when it is mixed with leather it should be a hit. I like Sartorial, Quercus, Bayolea and Curious Cousin George from Penhaligons that I got my nose on so far. I am from România. Take care
Sebastian, great review about Penhaligon's Terrible Teddy. This sounds like a super masculine and powerful fragrance with spices, smoky incense, leather, cedarwood, ambroxan, and musk to name a few. I love the notes of incense, leather, cedar, and ambroxan so I think Terrible Teddy would really appeal to me. I have yet to try anything from the Penhaligon's line although I have heard positive reviews about many of their fragrances. The most masculine fragrance I own is Bentley for Men Absolute. Hey Sebastian, great review as always! I think the most masculine fragrance I own would be Bentley for Men intense. I used to have some Kouros but I dont own that Civet bomb anymore. that was pretty masculine smelling. ;-) I am most excited to smell the cedarwood in this fragrance because I love cedarwood. I want to see how they blend the leather and woods. I just love musky, woody scents. I am in Utah, USA. Thanks!

Hi Sebastian! My most masculine fragrance is admittedly unisex - Maison Margiela by the Fireplace- I think the smokiness makes it more masculine than any of my other fragrances. I would love to win Terrible Teddy because the spices and the leather sound delicious to me, also I love woody scents, especially ones with ambroxan at the base! Sebastian great video; great reviewer! The most masculine sent I've ever had Etro Messe de Minuit, it outlasts many EdTs and even EdPs! Love the name Terrible Teddy! I love every single thing you said about Terrible Teddy, right up my ally. My most masculine fragrance is John Varvatos Artisan Acqua. When my young nephew smelled it he said it smelled like Harrison Ford, lol. I had to agree, he hit the nail on the head.

I find Terrible Teddy to be very interesting and want to try it because I personally do love the smell of ambroxan. It sounds interesting with how blends with the other notes. Im from the U.S. Most of my fragrances are not very masculine. They tend to be unisex but leaning toward the masculine side. I would say Black Phantom by Kilian is at the top for me in that category. Ive never smelled Terrible Teddy but am very interested in doing so. I love the look of the bottle and the review/description made it seem very appealing.

This is a fantastic review. I have a small sample of Terrible Teddy and it is divine. It’s like being on a luxury safari trip. I am actually travelling to San Francisco this May and would love this fragrance to be a reminder of your amazing city.
My most masculine scent has to be Sartorial. I live in London and it really incapsulates the elegance and refinery of Saville Row. My favourite Penhaligon’s fragrance overall is Belgravia Chypre. I’m distraught they are discontinuing it. Perhaps Teddy can replace it as my new favourite.

For me the most masculin scents are the leathery ones - TF Tuscan Leather, PDM Godolphin etc. Terrible Teddy is sounds exciting because of the dustiness. The most masculine fragrance I own is Coco Chanel Mademoiselle. I do not own any Penhaligons, I am both excited and curious to try Penhaligon's Terrible Teddy as the incense intrigues me and am learning more, and want to experience more ambroxen. Dusty, peppery, salty cedar wood sounds perfect. I own two scents from this line and love them both. I consider Montale's Red Vetiver the most masculine scent in my collection, though Hacivat or Invasion Barbare could lay claim to that title too. I live in Nashville, TN, USA.

I agree with you Sebastian, I’ve sampled Terrible Teddy I was also wondering where that sweetness/brightness comes from in the fragrance, I regularly visit a nearby Penhaligons boutique here in the U.K. I love Penhaligons it’s a great house, been looking to get a lot of the Portraits collection but so far only have one, The Ruthless Countess Dorothea, I find the Portraits collection to mostly be unisex you could wear any of the line and enjoy it, I think my favourite from the line is between The Bewitching Yasmine and Monsieur Bereugeurd. It seems it is an awesome experience to wear the rhino "Terrible Teddy" , I don't have anything that sounds similar to it. It seems too that they have put a lot of effort into the collection. Only by the caps I feel they were pieces of art. Worth having it for sure.
I don't own jet any very masculine fragrance. From my little collection would be "Chanel Egoist Platinum".

My most musculine fragrance is Amouage Fate Man aka Cumin bomb.
My most favourite fragrance from Penhaligon is Roaring Radcliffe. I think Terrible Teddy is perfect for me, because i want something BOLD and super Musculine and of course with super quality.

Hey Sebastian, the most masculine fragrance I own would have to be a bottle of Mugler Pure Malt! It holds a close spot to my heart because it is the very first bottle I bought as an introduction to the fragrance world. So far, I tend to lean towards leathery, boozy, tonka bean heavy scents and winning this giveaway would give me a chance to enjoy some of the notes you've mentioned in the video. I would have to say that my most masculine fragrance I've sampled is undoubtedly French Lover by Frederic Malle. Unfortunately it's a bit too expensive, just like Terrible Teddy :'(
My favorite Penhalligon's fragrance would go to Uncompromising Sohan, however I can't get my hands on it, so the second best would definitely be Castile. It's a great soapy floral neroli fragrance.
Terrible Teddy sounds great because I've always been a fan of masculine fragrances, especially leather and incense. Some of my favorites would be Amouage Memoir and AdP Colonia Leather.

The opening reminds me of church because of the powerful incense. The drydown is awesome - love the cedar. The cap is gorgeous and super heavy. Looks amazing on the dresser. From New Jersey.

The most masculine for me in my collection is Roja parfumes vetiver. Terrible Teddy seems like something very different, but most from the house of Penhaligon's seem to be that way although i have never tried any.
