Hello and welcome to BOAB Models - today we'll be completing my build of the Ferrari SF90 Spider model kit in 1/24 from Alpha Model. Big thanks to Alpha Model for sending me this kit to build. Take a look and let me think.
The SF90 Spider is an open-top variant of the SF90 Stradale equipped with a retractable hardtop. It is the first Ferrari plug-in hybrid car offered as an open-top variant. It is also the most powerful non-limited convertible car in the world, having a combined power of 1,000 PS. The previous record was held by the Ferrari 812 GTS. Performance is very similar to the closed-body variant and on par with LaFerrari Aperta.

Great building Thomas! definitely lucky I got bending tools in my F8 build. Love the overall build, I think I'd have done it in a slightly brighter colour to accentuate those lines a bit, but I too went rather dark with my choices of paint.

Thanks mate. Yeah, I did want to paint it yellow but decided that it looked really aggressive in black and I hadn't done a gloss black car in ages. Never on my channel actually

It looks fantastic and it's also cool to see how your modeling skills developed over the years. I would have painted it in red (I know, It isn't very creative). I would like to build a model of one of these modern cars, but the resin kits are just a bit expensive

Thank you - I agree that I've come a way. I like Ferraris in red but every other one I've made (and an F1 I'm currently making) has been red so I went a different route.

Nice one! Looks great in black. I have been wrestling with my SF-90 for a while now. Its been one of those builds where the paintwork just was not good enough. Its been stripped back 6 times now. If I can get the paint to behave, mine will be an Ironman red

The iron man red will look great. I had my fair share of issues with this one too - it was yellow originally. Good luck with yours.

hi - nicely done! Did you mention 'foam safe super glue' - is that what you used to tack in the windows on top of paint? (without making a sticky mess). tia for sharing a tip! :)

Yes, that's what I use. My local hobby shop carries their own brand but you can look out for other brands.
