I just started JoL 1 ... saw your title and learned that there's a 'season 2' ... didn't want to listen to your commentary as I am just starting the first, but will bookmark and come back when I finished it. I like the main. I saw him in SSS (Sword Snow Stride) which has been my favorite so far. I'll check out your other vids. I want to hear your thoughts on NIV 1 & 2.
Thank you for commenting and confirming you'll come back. Do be assured I do keep the spoilers out of it as much as possible of course as you're on season 1, it makes perfect sense that you'd want to wait a bit. Since some incan mention would be spoilers for s1. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did. ❤️
For Chinese fans, including a certain CZcamsr on China dramas, the comedy/jokes side was a bit over & not suited to overall tone of the theme. Plus some story arch like the last 2 episodes in Jiang An. Other than that, Season 2 has fewer fight scenes compared to Season 1. The budget looks less too. Season 3 if according to the novel has many fight/war scenes so we shall see
That's a fair assessment. I liked it myself, but not everyone has the same tastes. I personally get the limited fight scenes given the story, but I did not there were less. I tend to focus on the story more than the fighting, that's just a bonus for me as I like good fight choreography. Thank you for watching and commenting. ❤️
Hi, I watched it on the Rakuten Viki app myself. It's supposed to be on the WETV app too, but I couldn't find it there when I wanted to watch it. Happy watching x
Disappointed in Season 2. Never answered any questions from Season 1 (except how he "died"). I really didn't like the music. They didn't reinforce the OST from Season 1 which would have helped with continuity. The new character actress for Wan er's best friend was annoying this season and not true to her character from Season 1. No one DID ANYTHING to move the original plot lines forward.
Those light hearted comedic conversations are so much a highlights of this drama👌👌👌
They're so well timed and written, aren't they 🥰
