    The home internet needs of today are nothing like they were in the past and the demand increases all the time. What used to be a computer and an X-Box at home, is now 30-40 WiFi enabled devices, many that require high speed connections for 4K video streaming, gaming, and much more. You may be asking yourself which kind of home WifI setup you need, and in this video I will answer the question for whether you need a traditional wireless router, or a whole home mesh WiFi setup. The TP-Link Deco XE75 and TP-Linke Archer AXE75 are great products for 6E Wi-Fi at home, or at the office!

      @TechOdyssey question, I live in a 2br apartment 1 floor, about 900-1000sq ft of size of the apartment. I stream for my TV and I have been doing some speed test for my internet. I found that I have better download speeds on WiFi than hardwired using my Android TV box. I only have about 6 devices connected to my wifi and I'm also using my ISP router which is not the greatest. My router is located in my living room and my streaming devices are in my bedroom which is roughly about 10-15ft away from the router. Would you recommend the TP link router for the best solution?

    There is a third, "hybrid" option. You can go with a conventional TP-link router, and add extenders in OneMesh mode. That's what I opted for.

    We just had fiber put in and they came and installed the modem today. We bought the TP-Link - Archer AXE7800 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 6E Router and set it up. Was super easy and OMG the speeds are so much faster than our old coaxial internet and modem/router setup. We're getting about 250 Mbps down and 250 Mbps up! Thanks for the tip on pointing the antennas. I adjusted them to point towards the areas of the house we typically use WiFi. I checked the signal strength on all three floors- it's 100% on the middle floor with the router and about 90% on the second floor and about 80% in the basement rooms on the 5 GHz channel. On the 2.4 GHZ it's 100% throughout the entire house. I haven't tested the 6G yet.

    Help me out. I’ve got a brick home and my router is in our “office” in a separate building on the back of our garage. All WiFi therefore has to go through two brick walls to get in our one-story 3300SF house. I get a spotty or no WiFi signal at times even though I pay for 1G speed. Could I get a two-mesh system with one placed nearer the office and another further away? Would the one further away relay to the closer one which in turn relay to the router?

    I have been wondering about " connectivity " for sometime now. ( Back before 5G was implemented and as the other specs began to bump up n up.) I did some haphazard searching. I've also prodded some you tube influencers. To date , this is the best video breaking down some of my concerns ( or deficiencies in understanding). So cross off wifi 6e off the list...( oneplus 11 = wifi 7 !!) I bet a short could cover the Bluetooth 5.0 to 5.3 differences with regard to future proofing . And lastly, the need for proper cables to charge at peak speed . Also , do the magnetic plugs accumulate miniscule metals or do they block the port and enhance blocking the buildup of " crap" in the port. Or do they alter charging/ data transfer speeds.
    Hopefully, you see the value in the above points, you infuse knowledge to your viewers , and add to your channel's brand by covering all the angles or considerations to tech hardware. There are So many salespersons and biased opinions just making videos without truly caring about the viewers experience on their tech journey. Thanks

I have att all in one router/modem and I have a Decx20 wifi 6 plugged into it, but I am still having problems getting signals to the back of my house. My house is 2200 and it is a perfect square. My base deco is only 20 feet from the first pod and is going through one wall, I am getting good speed there, but the other pod, which is about 20 feet or less is sending the signal through 3 walls and I cannot faster than 70 mbps. I checked the att apps for signal strength and it telling that the signal is week. DO you have any suggestions? Should I get rid of the att router? Thank you

    • @Hupihovi
      @Hupihovi Před 3 měsíci

      Doesn't work that way. The one with the router is called OneMesh that only works with other routers and Wifi Extenders, so in that case you probably wouldn't need as "powerful" router as Archer AXE75, because it would be adviced to turn that Wifi off entirely if you want a Mesh that is supposed to work like a Mesh does. You can however plug in Deco devices to this router and play with the OneMesh and then get multiple Deco Mesh devices to each dead spot of your house, e.g. floor 1, 2, 3 and garage and they work.
      This is a shame in my opinion, since I really thought that Archer AXE75 would be in the same Mesh with Deco devices, but nope. This was a poor choice from TP-Link in my opinion.
