Honestly this place has it all, all year round! The Riverland, SA is one of our favourite year long regions to visit, there is always something to do to, to see, eat, drink and visit. It feels impossible to do it all. In This video we venture up to the Historic Overland Corner Hotel, an old historic pub renovated and brought back to life! before heading onto Murtho Forest Reserve. This place is a free campers paradise with some of the most spectacular cliffs along the mighty murray river. We chuck the tinny in and set off to visit Wilkadene Woolshed Brewery, a classic craft brewery set in an old shearing shed. Other than the tasty beers, sours and hard lemonade, the beauty of this unique brewery, is you can park the boat right out front! Before ending our adventure we visit the well known 23rd Street Distillery in Renmark for a top notch feed and tasting of some fine gins!

A great video, well filmed and good music too. Looked awesome!
Cheers Jason! It’s an awesome region to adventure
Nice one guys, looks like you had a great time. The Overland, what a great iconic Riverland Pub. such a great spot. I thought it was interesting the still had the flood markers on the side of the building. i wonder how high last years flood got. We got there on a long weekend and it was buzzing, they had a band and it was so busy. We love the Woolshed, any time we are in the Riverland, we will make the treck out there and pick up a carton of Hard Lemonades. Another beautiful spot.
Such a great region!
The overland is a ripper spot! Great food too! We heard the water would have been half way up the door without the levy which lucky held.
That hard lemonade is dangerous! Delicious! But dangerous haha
@@Wanderingaus_adv what a crazy few months for the Riverland, It'll be a while before some people can recover from the floods. We have a trip booked in for Renmark soon, looking forward to the Woolshed and catching up with family.
Good to see another video, great stuff. Keep the meatball on top of the spaghetti.
Cheers Mick! 🍝🍝
Have great video guys as for the meatball question on top of the pasta.😀😆
Couldn’t agree more! 😂🍝 thanks Ed
Hey great video guys it’s been a while nice to see ya ✌️🍺👍🍷
It has! Thanks Stephen!
Few no it but another pub similar vintage to Overland Corner was situated on the North side of Lake Victoria. The North side of the River was the old Stock Route well over a hundred years ago. It’s on private land and is no more than a pile of rocks now. But some good historical places there. Including targets for fighter planes from Mildura during the war.
Plenty of history through that area
Hey guy's,good to see you back again. Thanks for showing another amazing part of this
great country,in a top vid.See ya next time.☺😎
Cheers Doug!
You love the Riverland!
See you soon 👍🏼👍🏼
Oooh we love the Woolshed! The hard lemonade is 👌🏼 Enjoy guys!
So tasty! But a little bit dangerous haha
Having never been in that area, you've whet my appetite.
Question, Have you ever had a wind gust catch the awning on your vehicle? I always use a set of tie downs as insurance to avoid unnecessary expense and inconvenience.
Looked a bit dry ashore..
Thanks for sharing.. Cheers.
Thanks Barry!
A real awesome SA Region!
Nah, we do tie our awning down if the wind picks up, but it’s fairly sturdy 👌🏼
SA so beautiful love this guys thanks xx
It sure is! Thanks Cally
Good to see you guys, love the Murry/Riverland,that looked a good Pub,have to visit one day.Look forward to your next one.Cheers
Thanks Norm!
Overland Corner was a ripper! A must visit?
P.S. meatballs on top.Lol
I new I liked you for a reason Norm!
Welcome back guy's
Cheers Graeme!
Great video guys and a beautiful part of the world, Wife and I had a counter lunch at the overland corner pub not long ago with the new owners and the meals were fantastic and the place was also packed which wasn't bad considering the remoteness of the place. Love the drone footage and can relate to your partner saying no more alcohol when you only had one drink. Just subscribed and looking forward to more clips.
Welcome to the Channel Peter!
It’s a ripper spot for a feed and a cold one hey! We had a ball! Keen to head back when they’ve got live music too 👌🏼
Thanks again Peter!
howdy young folks where did u get the alloy dingy. regards leon
Gday Leon.
It’s a second hand joby, it’s a Stessco hull running a 15hp 4 stroke Suzuki.
A great video guys, good editing 👌👍🇦🇺 btw what did you think of 23rd Street? My favourite Gin and Whiskey is smooth
Thanks mate!! We were Big fans of 23rd Distillery, bank accounts not so much 😂
Hey mate, love the channel. Would you be able to pin that exact spot you had at forest landing and send it via my email or somehow privately here? Just a quick question did you walk in the water there and was there rocks or was it sandy / muddy?
Hey mate we have wikicamps location in our description below. It’s fairly Sandy 👍🏼
How would I go with a walker from the free camp?
It’s not too bad, no facilities though.
Who cares where the meat balls are as it becomes poo
😂😂
