  • Hi folks!
I was recently chatting with a friend of mine who is pursuing a STEM-certified business degree in the U.S. Pursuing a STEM-certified degree gives you 36 months of OPT as opposed to just 12 months (for non-STEM). His program is one of the most affordable out there and I wanted to bring this to your attention.
There has been a rise of STEM-certified business degrees the past few years -- such as MBA, MS&E, MIS, MSBA -- and this is one great option for you to consider! :)

Awesome video Soundarya, super helpful! It is important for people to know that in the past few years many degrees have been changed from non-STEM to STEM certified degrees. So make sure you do your research so you don’t miss out.
As always I highly recommend the book Admitted, it will be a great guide for you!☕️

Hi Soundarya, Just came across your video and I love your insight on Marketing Analytics and Insights. I did my Bsc in bio-technology. I don't have a formal education which includes statistics. I work as a Project Manager. Am i eligible to take this course?
From the course link i noticed this "Students are expected to have completed, at either the undergraduate or graduate level, six credit hours in statistics within five years prior to admission. Students without this requisite statistics experience must pass an opt-out test or complete the MBA Quantitative Business Analysis course (MBA 5800). The statistics requirement must be met before a student begins the program".
Is it mandatory to have experience in statistics?

I was in a similar situation
One of the most affordable options that comes with $429 per Credit @ 30 Credits
If you are from non-IT Background, you might end taking 1 or 2 prerequisite costing around $1000 each
