The hull does continuously repair, by ya doesn’t seem right
Ether the Akula is really good or the Galor is really crapy. Can you imagine if Starfleet took the boarder war seriously, and deployed first line ships and not older ones.
I’m going to guess that this particular Akula is heavily modified for the Dominion War
