I'm a HUGE fan of anything with Cocchi Americano. Thanks.
You're welcome! Cocchi Am has been my go to lately,
Thanks for making the drink Pete! I haven't tried this with your additions, but everything you said about its shortcomings were right and I think a little more body and back palette activity seem like welcome additions. Cheers!
Cheers to you! thanks for sending it in, and Let me know if you try the new version, and what you think!
Always enjoy when you delve a bit into whatever spirit or process you are gonna feature. Nice learning a little something. Also, nice hat.
Thanks! Sounds like you have a love of life long learning!

2ND?!?!?===============> I still prefer gold over silver....
You're gold in my book!
liking the sound of this. Need to get myself some Soju now!!
Shochu preferably, but soju in a pinch!
PETE!!!! Great video!!! I'm sure there's a difference between this and Soju, but I HAVE to try the Hexagon!!! I made a couple of cocktail with Soju, and I really like it!!!! CHEERS and Happy New Years to you!!!
Not super familiar with Soju, but I imagine it would work here. I guess I should get some Soju if I can! Cheers Tim!!
My offspring are into shochu - I think it's because they got to Korean bbq joints a lot.
That makes a lot of sense
I’m prompt! Happy New Years Pete!!!🎉
LOL!! Same to you buddy!
Definitely trying this. I have Soju (korean version) and I think I will swap Salers and honey syrup with Amaro Sibilla (hmm that would make it a pentagram rah roh). Trying all versions soon.
Ohh that sounds good! I need to get Sibilla again. Love that stuff
Hello, there are two types of soju, one is traditional soju which is similar to Japanese Shochu. However, the typical green bottle sojus (jinro, cham, etc) are basically watered down vodka and not made from rice like the traditional ones.
@@digirira Good to know!
Your editing skills is off the charts, there are a lot of jump cuts but they don't feel jumpy at all, there is still a very nice flow. I watch most stuff on YT at 1,5 speed so if you can still maintain the flow then the editing is immaculate. Major Kudos!
On a side note, I've been tinkering with MSG lately and was wondering would 2 drops of a saline and msg solution yield better results?
First of all, thank you so much! I have been trying to work on the editing so this makes me feel good!!👍🏻
I have been hearing about msg lately but I haven’t tried it, I should put it on the list to test out, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work!
@@UnclePete You said the saline solution gives it a more meatier taste, which is also known as umami and that is what msg does. I'm going to do some tests with negroni's since they have a large umami element. I've also (in cooking) been working a lot with Keltic sea salt lately which is less salty and more minerally so in addition I'll be doing dome testing (middle of January I think) with plain kitchen salt saline solution and sea salt solution for cocktails.
Cool! Sea salt seems like a no-brainer!
