8:09 feels like such a Metal Gear moment. Guard comes in, accidentally shoots person in charge, then immediately screams in panic and fright about killing them.
Guys don't worry so much about the cameraman, we are filming a show after all. This is not a super competitive game mode and the guards are all playing their roles as normal guards, not super tactical tryhards.
The camera didn't bother me much. I think some people just get fixated on it and can't help but think of it the whole time. I really enjoyed this. BTW if you need more cameramen next time, I'd be more than happy to lend a hand! I live in Huntington Beach.
What would be really cool but maybe impractical is if you set up cameras in the corners of rooms instead like at the top of the room.

They usually have more cameramen when they play airsoft/nerf but since this shoot is done from a rental/vacation house they can only bring a limited amount of people and then more cameras=less players.
Totally unrealistic, that exchange between otacon and snake would’ve lasted 20 minutes.

Sitting/squatting down shouldn't give away anything since it's a common thing for a cameraman to do to steady the shot. Also Cliff waited for Anna to walk past him before he squatted so she shouldn't have seen him.

Hey dudes! The goggles AND EAR PLUGS we are wearing make it really hard to see what's happening. Half the time I didn't even see Cliff (cameraman) when he was in the room with me because all you can see is what's in front of you unless you turn your head.

That sad realisation that every player in the game has to try to quell the entitled "fan" base. Sorry you have to feel compelled to satisfy rude and easy-to-irritate people. I enjoyed it. :)
It seems for this game and others that you are breaking the rules that the guards follow in MGS. The other players (Wren, Jake, Brandon, Niko) are acting as normal guards, calling alerts before shooting Snake, and looking before shooting. You almost shot Cliff and you did shoot Niko in this episode, when in MGS they wouldn't be that careless. Also, you peeked around the corner of the bathroom at D instead of walking in and taking aim. In the other episode, you didn't call the alert on Sam before shooting and you shot from the balcony. You're playing as if you're Snake when you're meant to be a guard.
I don't mean to be rude, I just think it would help when you all play in the future to fulfill your roles and try to play the game you're modeling this nerf game on.

Just a suggestion, maybe instead of a camera man, you guys can use go-pro and set them up like security cameras. The camera man might break the immersion for the players, but the go-pro’s can sort of substitute the camera. Plus cool security camera angle & first person view wooo

I love how she shot the cameraman automatically. She was into it, and also that was some great reaction on her part. And then when she shot the commander on accident XD. That is why you check your fire, and always confirm your target BEFORE shooting.
That was really smart when D told Niko to tell the guards to stand off. If only it worked... that wouldve been epic.
Actually, in MGSV, Venom Snake has cut lines where he would tell the guard he's interrogating to tell CP they were all clear. We're not sure why it wasn't implemented in the final game.

I agree with others though on the camera man thing, place some cameras around the building if the gopro isn't enough for you guys (at least for me it's good enough).

I know it’s gonna be too late for the games in big bear, but I feel like the go pro should be the ONLY cam on snake. Have cam peeps follow guards or just scope like security cams. Then snake can sneak with out worrying about having anyone else seen

As good as the camera man was at not directly recording D when a guard is in the area. Having just one camera man follow the player around is still a bit of a give away to the guard that the player in somewhere near. As much as I love all the points of view, maybe don't have 1 camera following the player about.

Maybe there were multiple cameramen? If there weren’t then maybe that would make it less fake-y for the guards
That's what they do for airsoft, I think. May not be able to have as many for Big Bear stuff since they need everyone staying there.
Even if they know Snake is in the area, they are restricted to a certain patrol so its all good

I absolutely love this game mode. I could see it being great at your airsoft course, or pretty much anywhere now that you have the mechanics down. I agree with many below; have a second or perhaps even third cameraman to make people a little less aware of Snake being in the vicinity. That, or post cameras in every room and abandon the moving cameraman, though that would require a lot of GoPro's.
This was imo the best video on your channel ever, you could also add that some guards will have keys to back entrance for example.

I have a game for you guys. Called GHOST
Description-
In this type of game, everyone stands in a circle. REF taps a person to be the ghost. Everyone asks questions via radio saying by Locations. REF says Yes or No. Say Niko & Brandon are in master bedroom. You can say “Is the ghost in the Master Bedroom” REF will say Yes. REF cannot lie.
Goals-
Goals for Survivors, Shoot the ghost and not dying.
Goals for Ghosts, Shoot the survivors and not getting caught.
anyone can ask questions unless their dead.
This includes two channels, Questions, Answers. Questions for asking questions, Ghost says yes or no in Answers, REF repeats what ghost says in Questions.
When your talking and you get shot by ghosts or survivors, You cannot finish your sentence or make a death sound. Only when your not speaking.
Weapons-
Pistol,Knife, Sword.
Knife is used for silent kills. For making stealth kills.
Pistol for, obviously. Shooting.
Sword can be used for taking another body.
Sword can be only used by ghosts. Takes 5 seconds to take them out.
You can switch swords to a different weapon if you like. Knives and pistols are fine

Need to get rid of the camera man and use either drones or fixed cameras in the room. Its too obvious someone is around when you have that cameraman acting as a shadow.
The guards have their own set of waypoint to follow also they have to keep their head straight and only telling everyone that they saw snake once they actually see him with those shitty goggles

It may be a surprise to you. It so,e people actually like following the rules of a game. Even if they see the cameraman they won't just wait for D to show up
but it would be like MGS for real. You don't remember the dumb ass drones? They even had em in snake eater in the swamp with a dude on top instead of being UAVs

It's cool to hear them talk totally in character even when (for them) no camera is around
spinakker well it is a game for them too that they’d like to enjoy for themselves. Being in character for something like this is sure to be extremely fun.

Talon Omegus not too hard, it's still a one versus many and people can be walking around but will mainly stay in a place. The one will be running about and obviously if he uses any gun or she then the guards will flood into the room.
they actually did a Hotline Miami kind of thing with airsoft guns and a drone hovering above the player. I cannot find it now, but it was really cool

Except it's not because the guards have to follow their routes and can only engage if they see him. Doesn't matter if they see the cameraman, they have to just keep walking until they see D with their own eyes.

I have watched this so many times already, I kinda wish I played MGS back when I had my PS1. That aside loved tha camera work and music thoughout the video, especially that opening shot on D at the very start of the mission!!

Maybe just do the filming with the GoPro's for the snake
Or they should set up go pro cameras around the house to show what snake is doing.
I like the idea of having go pros around the house to cover the action. Set them up in major rooms and it'd be a great way to show Snake sneaking around other players. They should definitely give it a try the next time they do this.
