Verizon Disconnect

- his is about my experience trying to disconnect my Verizon Phone, Internet and TV services after receiving a bill in January, 2018 $54.65 higher than my previous bill. I had not just come off of an agreement and I had not changed any services or changed bill dates. This audio with captions is humorous at times, heated at times and absurd several times (especially when told I am going to receive a bill for March after cancelling February 12th). Why do the regulatory agencies allow this kind of nonsense? This audio is about 20 minutes long so it may or may not be worth your time to listen. If you haven't had this experience with Verizon, it may be an eye opener.
The rep did a bad job explaining why you would receive another bill. With any postpaid service let’s say to sign up in January at $100/month your first bill isn’t charged until February for the charges in January. So if you cancel let’s say in March right after you paid your bill the March bill will reflect February usage and not the March usage, so there will always be one more bill because from the get go you are always paying a month behind every month.
12:55 -13:05 sounds like me talking to xfinity lol
Verizon was reported to within days of my cell being lost accidentally during a move. They continued to bill me even though I cancelled autopay after calling and cancelling my service since I could not afford another cell at the time. The continued to bill me. 3 months later still charging and pushed auto pay through anyway, costing me $36 overdraft on my account I was closing since they refused to remove autopay. Again this month, they send an email bill again and refused to acknowledge my cancellation of service due to lost cell 4 months ago. They can clearly see my cell number has had no usage whatsoever, yet the rep now says the cancellation did not happen til last month, so I have another charge. This is either poor record keeping or flat out fraud.
The final straw with this bogus company was after going over all these facts and placed on hold for over 2 hours, the lady hung up on me when I told her the cancellation date she had quoted was not correct.
Them and Comcast and at&t all pull the same stunt with billing smh
lol this sounds like sprint they didnt want me to leave
Just went through this with sprint it’s pathetic
Because this is so called retention. Saving customers, if you want a better deal when making a query, look for retentions team, they'll give you the best deal with discount.
Virgin Media cable £69 a month beats this miles
