It should really be helpful when you call tech support which could last anywhere from 1/2 to one hour or more. This will chew up your usage on your cell phone that becomes a free call via wi-fi.

TextPlus allows you to make phone calls and texts in the same app! Google Play and the Apple App Store has it for free. It can get laggy but it does what it's supposed to do.

+Amoy Givans ...Everyone has an area code...it would be found in your phone book or you could Google it to find out... what it is for where you live...which city you live in...it is the 1st 3 numbers that you would put,in front of a regular number when you call out of town...or when you call someone in another state.

If you had this tablet then u would know the WiFi only version still has the ear price on the top of the tablet. This was a cool video showing how to make phone calls from any tablet. I've also used this app on the asus transformer and it worked without an issue.

If your tablet does not have a built in mic then u will need to use a Bluetooth headset or use headphones that have a mic built in.
