This film resonated with me. The actress gives a convincing performance of a woman who is so desperate that she wants to end it all. However, she calls up Mr. Cort. This is really a cry for help. If you've ever felt alone, lost, friendless, or felt you had nothing to live for, you will feel this woman's pain on the Telephone.

I have and continue to watch Maude several times a year, any film etc, just really like this guy. He’s a good actor without a doubt.

@Bella Bella Hi Bella. :) Yes, underrated is right. I didn't realize either all that he had done. I'll tell you. I do love H&M, but it was the movie Electric Dreams that made me research who was behind the computer voice of Edgar. Then, I found out it was Bud Cort. I've been a fan ever since. :) ~deb
