Well, I just recently became a fan of Mr. Bud Cort. So, I haven't seen all his performances. I've seen just a handful, but already, I'm struck by something. Don't know what. I'll get it out of my system. I grew up in the 80s, and just rediscovered Electric Dreams. That was one of my favorite movies growing up. I just found out about the person behind that voice that I almost fell in love with.
Harold and Maude and Ted and Venus (see the parallel) may be landmarks in his career. However, Mr. Cort has this natural comedy about him from which he brings to a lot of smaller movie roles. Yes, he's played a few bad guy parts. I think where he shines is with drama, but with a touch of comedy. He also has this alluring sex appeal where it almost seems like he knows what you want. He's still out there doing his thing, and I'm very glad to have discovered his unique movie personality.
