Thanks for sharing! For the start/stop switch, its intended to be turned around upon setup. They flip it backwards for shipping to avoid breakage! Hope this helps
From another CZcamsr: the power switch is located on right side for shipping. You can locate on the other side by moving 2 screws.
The power switch is back there for shipping. It is held on by 2 bolts, take them off & move the switch to the side facing the front of the machine. 👍🏻😊
The switch is meant to be turned around, that is just for shipping.....2 bolts................
i believe after you release the brake it does not restart. Start button is required.

In search of a review on the C14 that referenced the blade guard, I stumbled onto your review and I have to ask, what about the blade guard? No one mentions the lack of access to the blade when changing. Unlike the 15 which has a hinged access, the 14's guard needs to be removed. Have I missed something? I know there is little instructions on this machine. BTW this replaced my defective Jet 18" band saw and service so far, sad to say, has put this American company to shame.

That blade guard is my sole complaint with my C14; otherwise I've been very happy with it
Just so you know, 230 V. service will not save you money on your electric bill. 240 is more efficient, but your bill will be exactly the same.
