  • This is the KUT-NUP Productions presentation of a documentary which focuses on the life and career of the actress, singer, dancer and songwriter.
The Academy award, Grammy award, Golden Globe, Daytime Emmy, Image award, People's Choice award and Obie award winner's life and career are examined in this provocative film. Some of the footage is sub-par due to the fact that we had limited resources to work with. Any comments and/or criticism are welcomed. We hope you enjoy! Sincerely, the producers.

Really informative story. She was a true gracious star who made it on her own for real. Sorry she had to endure all those trials because she refused to be taken advantage of. Those responsible and those who turned their backs will reap that if they already hadn't. May her soul RIP!

She broke black/latin color barriers. Irene was in a class all her own. She called the shots. But I can't help but think that some people were jealous of her talent, beauty, and power. Some just didn't know how to market her-they were the real losers.

"I think most of us need to use our God-given talents to overcome life's negative challenges as we are given them. Once we have accomplished this, we should turn all negative situations into positive learning tools to better ourselves and help others." " I believe there are many people in our society who should stop doubting themselves and their ability to obtain their personal goals. If they would only put their Faith and Trust in Jesus, our Christ, the Son of Man, who came to this earth and literally died for our sins so we all could live again eternally!" He went independent and in 1998 he wrote a song called don’t play me on an acoustic guitar vocal album named the truth. Where he sings about not being played on the radio it seem that his new songs simply were not being given airtime. He also had to take care of a lot of the things that the record company would alone. But culminated around the time prince fought the record companies which also started possibly sometime in the mid to late 80s when Warner Bros. was canceling three album sets that prince wanted to release down to a two album set and the industry including MTV has been revealed by one of his former band members that purposely picked the middle of America Wyoming to debut his second film. But even George Michael thought his leg when he actually lost and that was probably a very serious. Also for him. And it should also be noted that Kirstie Alley also was blackballed.

I must say that she was a very very strong person and to be very honest with you I don't even know how she did what she did be not there on your own, especially in so many people were determined that she would never be nothing instructor completely in the USA. And I don't know who instructed her to go abroad and give it a shot over there when she did and she was absolutely phenomenal, and again we heard nothing about this in the US and we have no idea where Irene Cara had disappeared to and never knowing the tormented life that she was actually having to live. To be very honest with you I don't know how she did it, it's like she said everyone needs someone, however it is particular situation who could she really turn to. There's just so much more that I'd like to say, however I'm just have a total disbelief of what this young beautiful gifted young lady woman, with so much if the talent and starting for me young age, where did she get her drive. And she was so very determined that what was going on in the US was not going to break her and the woman that who she was. But I'm bombarded group of people that could do that and be so animalistic to another human being a young woman, oh I asked God why. I mean I really am so sorry of a life and everything that you had to go through because you did not deserve what the record company and like you said people that didn't even know you also trying to destroy you. But you hung in there and you still continue to fight by giving it all in all by going to other countries and letting it be known that you were not dead and that you were still very much alive. I just can't even say anymore or even write anymore because I'm just so hurt and choked up in the motions, for everything wrong that you endeared in your life. As far as I'm concerned I'll be criminals that have a part and what they did to you, need to be sent to jail for life, never seen the day again they're bombarded and I can't even call them human being for what they did to you, and now going the truth about what happened to you they also did it to us as well, your friends, your fans, and for so many others that just did not know what in the world and happened to you, and now we know the truth. I will always love you my sister in Christ, it is not enough words in my heart that can even begin to express how I truly and truly I'm so emotionally taken back behind all of this brutal brutality that you endured way too much for anyone. Please rest in peace my sister in Christ, and Irene how could you ever be forgotten, you don't even know how to explain the beauty of your magnetism of everything that you did throughout your life, still trying to survive the amount of pressure that you are under. But you did when you were still winning awards even if it was abroad and we weren't aware but you were doing what you had to do as the angel that you are. I'm so very proud I will be achievements that you were able to accomplish back in the day when things were too much easy for you and how we all became to know you, and how you shined some little girl, as far back as far back as the dead Mac amateur hour, such a beautiful little girl can grow up to be such a beautiful woman. No I mean you were exceptionally gifted, and anyone that knows of you would definitely agree. Sweetheart you will always be remembered as the angel that you are in you will always beat up sister in my heart, that I grew up admiring.
