These are all diseases that are being caused by an excess of inflammation in the body. While bodybuilding is commonly viewed as an inflammatory activity, it's not quite the whole story. We answer this question for someone in our rapid recovery group.

    I have a stomach ulcer but this is what I needed to hear. Thank you!
    I'll reduce calories but keep up the weights. I do feel a lot better doing them :-)

    What foods are inflammatory in a muscle building diet? More protein from powders and tofu? Cooked foods, grains, rice, beans, starches? Other nuts and seeds? I'm guessing when you say inflammatory foods you just mean that they are not specifically anti inflammatory as a whole to be a disease fighting diet?

    Great to hear - can you clarify what a ‘bodybuilding diet’ looks like? If one is a vegan and eating only healthy Whole Foods (at the needed caloric intake), and is trying to be at a slight surplus to build muscle, I take it this would not be considered inflammatory as it depends on the kind of food?

    Thank you so much for posting this video. Ive been wondering. I have Celiac Disease and a new autoimmune (either Seronegative RA, Lupus or UC) Rheumo is still testing and referring out. Im on Prednisone (tappering off and now very low dose) and Sulfasalazine and Im worried because have already put on close to 20 pounds. I feel terrible not only from the ridiculously painful swelling in joints but from the embarrassment of gaining so much weight on the steriod. How do I add a workout when my joints hurt so stankin bad? Is there anything other than bodybuilding? I have a rough time just loading the dishwasher. Lol. Any advice would be greatly aporeciated. ☺☺

      The first priority is to reverse the disease. It doesn't matter what it's labeled, the path to reversal is the same for all of them. Remove the inflammation, hyper-nourish and get healed first.
