      If only the flashy, centered text in shorts could stop being the norm. Awful ux.

    About eggs. In original pre release patch, eggs aren't very good. The reason one always seems to have a surpus of eggs is that they aren't being eaten, so long as certajn other foods are available. OG version has a food hierarchy as that food will always be eaten in a specific order. It goes: meat, berries, bread, eggs, veggies, honey, and apples. Mind you, they follow this order based on what is in each individual food stall, so sometimes food further down the order could be eaten. Like if there are only eggs in a stall, those will of course be eaten. The trouble is that most of the time the stall peddlers will throw in a random assortment of foods. It really does depend on what food sources are stored nearby the stall worker tho. It's possible to get specific stuff into one, but is all rather a huge headache.
    All that being said, I do find eggs somewhat useful. It's nice to have a few kicking around in the early to mid game for a nice approval boost from having wn extra type of food on the market. In the beta 7.960, the way food is consumed was changed to be whatever is in each stall at random. I suppose some eggs wouldn't be too bad then.
    I strongly recommend making sure any such house with the chicken coop upgrade be placed as close to a granary as possible. The eggs themselves have to be removed one at a time from a house each time they pop out. This seems to only be done by whatever granary worker is free, but can happen from anywhere on the map. Best we can do is increase the odds of it being a nearby granary that isn't too overworked from other tasks. Eventually and with a substantial number of chicken coop buildings, having a granary dedicated to nothing else other thst egg collection and storage could be helpful. Cheers!

      I found my chicken coops not producing many eggs. And was only ever seeing a surplus of around 2 eggs. And I've never had enough to distribute to more than a few plots.

    I've never seen a difference between assigning people to hitching posts or not for my oxen. What's the point?

      Lol. I disregarded the Foresters Hut when I first started and realized quickly, shit, I have no more wood to log, I thought it'd grow back on its own 🤣

    Not sure if this is gonna be fixed but for me eggs don't work so well. They barely make a difference.

    What does putting a worker in the stable do? Ive never done it and my ox seem to get lead to work just fine?

    • @gameGuy777
      @gameGuy777  Před měsícem +6

      It creates a dedicated worker to ferry around the Oxen. If you don't have a dedicated worker, the Oxen will sit there waiting for a citizen who currently has no other tasks to come by and ferry it.
      Having dedicated workers ensures the Oxen are always moving.

      The only problem with this theory is that sometimes people that aren't busy with other tasks or sometimes free people from families with minimal tasks will decide to go lead an ox. This makes it super awkward for the family that is specifically designated to work at that hitching post/stable. I've often watched to see what any such families do and find that they more often than not will simply be waiting or going home. The other randos bully them out of a job, sometimes even while they themselves were about to or already were leading an ox!!!

    The one that I can't figure out is...I never have a person serve as the "priest". Doesn't seem to matter.

      @gameGuy777  Před měsícem +1

      I'm not going to lie, priests are one of the few things I have yet to figure out in the game. When/if I do, you'll be the first to know! But what I do know is, church workers are only ever gravediggers.

    Question what ox transfer in game do they transfer? Commodities?

    • @gameGuy777
      @gameGuy777  Před měsícem +1

      Primarily they transport Logs for building, for firewood and for the sawpit.
      I don't believe they transport anything but materials.
