    BYD...Love your channel been a subscriber for while now...Your opening statement was left kind of open or incomplete. The person shot was a DWI suspect, who resisted arrest, took the taser away from an officer, fled the scene and tried to taser the officer...the officers were charged and will have to answer or justify their actions in court, but more importantly to the man up stairs...Ultimately, you cant deny if he wasn't intoxicated, no one would have called the police on him and he would have gone home to enjoy his Wendy's burger. Appreciate your vids. God Bless.

    I had the same problem in my lawn. Take a rake and remove all the dead matted grass down to bare soil. It'll expose the soil and give the runners a chance to spread and attach to the exposed soil rather than trying to root through dead grass. Mine filled in within a matter of a week or 2. Fertilizing after will speed up the process too. Glad to see you back man.

    • @coryCuc

      Is that the same as dethatching?

    • @Alan_83
      @Alan_83 Před 2 lety

      Not quite. This is if you have thin spots in your Bermuda. You just need to expose the soil. It gives the runners a better change at spreading and filling in the thin spots.

    Great video BYD. Assuming you have a reasonable soil test, I have had good luck with a Proplugger. My basic sod is Tifway 419. In the first case, I ordered some Celebration bermuda plugs on line. I punched out the dead spots with the Proplugger, and put the 1 inch plugs in the 2 inch hole after putting in Wakefield Biochar, starter fert, and a 50/50 mix of sand and potting soil. Every one of the 144 plugs has grown and spread. In the second case, I just took my own grass as the source of the plugs, and did the same process. Just keep up the great content, and glad to see you back. Nice truck by the way. You deserve it due to all of your hard work.

    Glad to see you back BYD. My lawn has spots in it but I thought it was the weed killer went down to heavy. I just put down some humic acid/ sea kelp and 20-20-20 fertilizer. This weather has not been good for us yet in ATL. Its suppose to rain on Tuesday/Wednesday. Also BYD I think you should do a video on what products people can use when rain is expected because whenever rain is forecasted I struggle trying to figure out what I can put on my lawn right before the rain. And I agree with you, it is a shame that more people don't know about or celebrate Juneteenth. My first year in GA I saw all restaurants packed beyond capacity for Cinco de Mayo but on June 19th they were empty, I couldn't believe it because I was raised in the Bronx with Puerto Ricans but no one there really celebrates Cinco Mayo but we do recognize June 19th.

    Saw this video last year and just watched it for a second time. I’m all liquid this year with Greene County Fertilizer so I’m not pushing a lot of top growth. When I want to fill in bald clay areas quickly I hand water them weekly with RGS in a 2 gallon watering can at 1 oz / gal. Even before the real heat of summer these spots fill in quickly along with 2 mowings per week.

    I've had the same issues and glad you made a video on it. I suspected a fungus because we've gotten ALOT of rain here in NC. So I've been treating it with a fungicide and I'm seeing good results. Yesterday I came across Scott's Ultra-Feed(40-0-5) and it feeds for 6 months. And you don't need another fertilizer with it. Check it out if you get a chance. HD carries it!!

      Don Mckinney if you’re able to do an update in August on how Ultra-feed works for you that would be appreciated. I applied mine in the spring to try to push crazy growth, but so far it’s been meh. I guess the good news is that my lawn is still green.
      My bare spots are due to using glysophate in the winter, and on the East side of my home due to too much shade I guess.

Your comment may led some to believe the situation was racially motivated which only serves to further divide our country on race relations when in fact it appears to be simply a tragic chain of events .
