- Recently I had an itch for driving games, but there are really not any good ones out there (still).
I had to resort for the good old TDU 2 but I wanted to play it with the eye tracker that I have.
(It's quite sad really that more than decade later and two decades since the original better TDU, we still don't have any racing/driving game of same or better quality - i can shit on your graphics if the game is just repetitive arcade that frankly sucks; also, when is the last time driving game was actually challanging to make a progress?)
Following a ton of research, with people strugling to make it work (including me), just by a pure accident I made it somehow work with my TOBII EYE TRACKER 5 - still don't know how.
I nearly gave up after several hours of trying (trying out different mods and unofficial updates + modifications) and then suddenly it just worked on a setup that didn't work before.
So finally I can play TDU in a new way (olthough on keyboard only), but the eyetracker makes the free ride soo much better! this was the experience I always longed for before when I had the full racing wheel and pedals before - wished for a way to be able to look around.
Now I can, but I have no wheel or pedals no more. Still, I'm enjoying the game.
Also, more importantly, although not that apparent in this video alone, it can work!
There are so many people trying to make this happen (like me) and couldn't do it.

Don't remmember anymore, but its the standard for camera hack mod that allows for the eyetracking with combination of opentrack program.
