Thousands of US troops, accompanied by advanced military equipment, have arrived on Calayan Island as part of a joint training initiative with the Armed Forces of the Philippines. This deployment, involving units such as the 25th Infantry Division and 3d Marine Littoral Combat Team, represents a significant step towards enhancing bilateral cooperation and ensuring regional security.
The joint training exercise brings together U.S. Marine Forces from the 25th Infantry Division, 27th Infantry Regiment, and 3d Marine Division, along with U.S. Marines from the 3d Marine Littoral Combat Team Division.
