  • Welcome to our new SHORT SERIES of VIDEOS. We wanted to have more messages, lessons and answered questions in a new, wide-open format. We're gathering our topics from the comments, questions and requests we receive through our channel, so we look forward to your participation!
Today, while getting to the topic of what cameras Tim uses, we include a humorous sidestep into a few of his restored and working portrait cameras. But, don't fret - we will be addressing serious topics, breaking down the art and science of photographic portrait art in to our new 5-minute, bite-sized episodes.

Thanks Tim. I too have changed brands several times, but am back using Canon almost exclusively. I still have a 22 year old Sony Digital, but sold my Nikons. I'm just more comfortable using Canon than the others and I like the color response from them. I do have a Fuji that was given to me after my son decided that he no longer wanted it. There have been a few times when I needed it as my back-up camera, but I don't like using it. I'm on a fixed income, so at a much lower operating budget than you. My studio is now only for family and friends and I no longer work for profit. It's my out-of-control hobby now. My present Canon cameras are a 77D and a 90D. The new mirrorless Canons are still out of my budget range and will likely be for years to come.
    Charley

It's great that you still enjoy it! I enjoy the digital but still love the challenge of film. Thanks for watching, Charley!

That is not a home portrait graflex slr. That's a super d graflex 4x5. Home portrait is a 5x7 camera with rise and fall movements on the front. 3:12

Thanks. I was mis-led when I acquired it. I really like it, used it several times after I had it fully serviced. Thanks for the info.
