    It took me a while but I think I figured out the puzzle at the end. Black shouldn't play the sacrifice because the red chariot pins the i5 Advisor.
    If black played for the same sacrifice tactic,
    ...Cannon xd7
    Cannon xd7 Soldier e7
    Cannon d6 Soldier d7
    Cannon a6 Soldier xc7
    Advisor c6+
    and black loses a chariot because the advisor can't block.

      Good job on finding the right answer! If black sees the potential advisor C6 check at last, and moves the general back to J6 instead of capturing the C7 horse, then the red horse can escape to A8. Red ends up with an extra piece and is surely winning too.

      You can click on the settings button on the bottom left corner when you are playing, from there you will see the option of switching the display of pieces between text and symbol
