    Thanks for the concise analysis video, I acquired more understanding of the game.
    I can't believe that I managed to find the winning cannon move by black while pausing the video! I think I took a good 2 minutes though. If only I had such sharp intuition with every move I play!

      Good job finding the move! If we could play such a brilliant move in the competition, it would be a memory of a lifetime

    I've watched all your videos, excellent work! I used to play some xiangqi when i was young but stopped, only starting again this year. Learning from your channel has helped me quite a bit, finally managing to beat the level 5 AI on your website :) I'd love to see more videos on lesser used openings, particularly the soldier (3 and 7) opening and the elephant openings

      Thanks for the support! We will try to cover videos featuring the elephant openings and the soldier openings, stay tuned!

    I just bought the set on Amazon. It’s so cute and I love it. The bag setup makes it easy to take to library to play.

    Great videos! But I got a question, I’m not sure if you are a GM player but you are explaining everything so correctly what separates you from players like wang and meng, how different is explaining a match afterwords of all the moves than actually in a game

    • @XiangqiChineseChess
      @XiangqiChineseChess  Před 10 měsíci +2

      That is a good question! I am not a GM player but only a xiangqi lover. Thanks for the kind words!
      Firstly, the professional xiangqi players have xiangqi training everyday, hence they have a much more thorough understanding in openings, mid-games and endgames than amateur players. This is why it is very hard to see amateur players beating professional players. For super GMs like wang and meng you mentioned, or yang in this video, they are the elites among the professional players, which means that it is hard for normal professional players to defeat them. From this you can see the huge difference between super GMs and amateur players like me.
      For your second question, it is very different between doing a post-game analysis and actually playing in the game. There are a lot of factors that would affect your judgement and decision during the actual game, for instance, the time pressure. You would also get nervous during the game, especially when you are in a critical moment, like when yang was planning to sacrifice two chariots in this video. If you make some wrong calculations, it would cost you the game! While in a post-game analysis, you could discuss the game with your friends, use the help of computer engines, and other methods to help you find the best move. So it is pretty different between doing a post-game analysis and playing the actual game.
      Hope that it helps!

    Where do we find these game records to go through ourselves?

      You can search the record of different games through www.dpxq.com/

      @@XiangqiChineseChessto use this site properly needs enough enthusiasm if you plan to search by name though. I only search for matches with the same opening.

    Why use a puppet instead of showing the guy's face? That's quite strange. I think you could at least remove that puppet.

    In these game analyses, it would be better to have the board sideways.
