I find the cooking time depends on the container you use.
Yes, it can do. Ceramic vessels will take longer because they don't conduct the heat as fast as metal.
100% steam rice takes 15 minutes for me. So by adding the chicken increases time by another 15 minutes? I cook in a gastronorm tray
The chicken does take longer, but also this dish is made at a higher (combi steam) temperature. It seems counterintuitive, but the rice takes longer because the heat transfer with the drier heat isn't as efficient as straight steam.
