    Thank you for this video. Is it necessary to have a convection oven beside to this steam oven?

      Hi Gity, steam ovens (like this one) now come with convection modes so it wouldn't be necessary to get a separate convection oven.

    Will you be doing a review or first look of the new Wolf Steam Oven (Model # CSO3050PM)?

    So with a steam oven, if a recipe calls for a ban marie do you just skip that part?

    We are planning on purchasing a Wolf Speciality Steam Oven. Besides the handle design, are there any cooking modes or operations M series has that E Series does not? Or what are ALL the differences between E and M Series

      Great question. There are a few differences, please read our in-depth article on Wolf M-Series vs Wolf E-Series: www.designerappliances.com/blog/wolf-wall-ovens/

    I'm trying to find out how to change the lightbulb in the steam oven. I've only had the oven for a little over a year and it's burned out already.

    Is the Wolf Steam oven too small? I currently have a double 27" convection ovens. Thinking of using a steam oven, convection oven and warming drawer as a replacement not sure if the Wolf steam oven is just too small?

      Good question! The Wolf steam oven is actually 30" wide, but they also make one in 24" width. To confirm all measurements, check our website, it has all the up-to-date specs: www.designerappliances.com/kitchen-appliances/cooking/wall-ovens-wolf,steam-oven.html

    Is this a new model? When I compared steam ovens 2 years ago, Wolf had the smallest capacity versus the Thermador or Miele. What size cabinet does it need, and what are the interior dimensions?

    • @DesignerAppliances
      @DesignerAppliances  Před 3 lety

      Great question - we have an in-depth article that compares these three brands. I even included a table that compares interior volume and dimensions in its summary section. Make sure to check it out at www.designerappliances.com/blog/best-steam-ovens-miele-vs-wolf/ . As for the quick version - Miele's most popular steam oven DGC68051XL has an interior volume of 1.84 cu. ft. Wolf CSO30CMS is at 1.8 cu. ft. which makes them practically the same. Miele also makes an extra high version of this oven which measures 24" in height (as opposed to the traditional 18" height). This XL capacity oven has 2.51 cu. ft. interior space and fits 4 racks instead of 3. (remember though larger space longer preheat). Thermador PODS301W competes in this extra tall capacity and clocks a really spacious 2.8 cu. ft. interior volume. As for the cut-out dimensions pls visit our site and check out the specification documents. (gets too wordy to include in the CZcams comments. Also, installation type may dictate the exact cut-out dimension calculations). Hope this helps. Thank you again for the comment.

    where does that puddle of water on the bottom go?

    • @DesignerAppliances
      @DesignerAppliances  Před 3 lety

      Good question! It stays at the bottom of the oven. You can easily dry it with a kitchen towel.

    2:21 what about new homes or existing homes with a water pipe ready and available? it means the installation must be dumbed down to filling a jug all the time? this is absurd. this design decision might be a "feature" for a cheapo oven, but this is a clear liability for a high quality oven like wolf. it would be like making an ice maker that was fed by a 1L jug of water that needed constantly refilled to make ice. the decision not to allow connecting a water line to the oven is a huge disadvantage of this product and hard to understand why it was made for a top end appliance.

      I’d have to disagree, although, I can understand your viewpoint. However, the water reservoir does not need to be filled each time you steam/cook and this design allows you to keep the waterline clean, therefore extending the life and cleanliness of this high end appliance 😊

      @@EvatheSteamOvenDiva Today Wolf offers plumbed steam ovens. This resolves a significant deficiency in the competitiveness of the product. Well done.
