If there's anything that will make people want to quit Master Duel, it's Drytron and their overpowered ritual summons, and throwing in Herald of Ultimateness to negate everything you do. It doesn't help that Eva is at three so there will always be loads of negates. Nothing gives me more satisfaction in this game than somehow beating someone running a Drytron deck.

I can feel people pain though, not everyone is a yugi pro that knows every single card and what they do and how to counter them. And not everyone is slave to the "meta". Some people practice and play they deck for hours and days for fun and just competition only to lose to what 1 or 2 cards that don't even let you play? That's like me training MMA for years and soon as I get in the cage they pull out a gun. Don't get me wrong I have clapped "meta" cheeks plenty and I run six sams. I beat Eldlich using Time Thieves. Using Flyback and Bezel Ship, you can steal Eldlich from the graveyard before they have the chance to revive themselves from the GY. Also if you bounce Eldlich using Redoer’s ability on your opponent’s turn, you can steal it from the top deck on your turn. Also, when you encounter Reasoning, 9/10 times it’s to summon Eldlich. Guess level 10 every time so it doesn’t special summon.

Ironically enough, Eldlich itself is an effective out to the kind of floodgates the full deck likes to run because of its hand effect that sends field cards to grave. And it's pretty splashable in spell and/or trap heavy archetypes like Endymion, True Draco, Sky Strikers, Altergeist, Traptrix, etc. provided you can get enough draw power to make using it specifically for outing floodgates worthwhile(or have a reason to pop your cards to bring him out as an a beater/extender, like changing scales or triggering floaters).
Decks that run Emergency Teleport can also bring out Ghost Ogre to deal with floodgates, but have to be preemptive with getting it out(or already have one in hand to chain to Imperial Order) to avoid missing the activation window.

-run macro/similiar (meta archetypes like tribrig even have it built in. If skill drain is up, refer to 2)
-royal decree (costly to out and wins if they can't get a golden lord immediately)
-multiple archetypes just win almost automatically due to their effects activating off the field, spamming negates, etc.
I dislike how eldlich has gained the status of being hard to counter when it's comparably easier to out than almost any other meta archetype. If I can play against it comfortably with blackwing and ogdoadic, decks like tri-brig should have absolutely zero issue

Notice how the Eldlich player still lost after his opponent made a ton of mistakes? Yeah turns out Eldlich isn't a very strong deck at all. For being a floodgate it sure is easy to stall against, and if skill drain isn't up for 1 or 2 turns Eldlich loses instantly. They have no otk setup, no powerful engine, no way of coming back from Called by, and their strongest card is limited to 1. If you open twin twister, feather duster, or other generic removal, Eldlich crumbles quickly. That's why it isn't the top deck, and is considered four times weaker than the top meta deck. Even lower tier decks can play well into Eldlich if they have decent banish, hand traps, and/or removal.

I just used Unchained, they float by activating in grave and hand, so drain doesn't do anything and the lich can't break my board. They eventually run out of resources with a slow painful death. I find that the top priority is to remove lich as much as possible, because to summon it back they need to go -1 and to work around the floating by using the send effect they have to go -2. The scariest card is Vanity's Emtiness as it stops the floating but as long as you save an MST or Escape in the back thats not much of a problem.
Also you can throw in some Imperial Iron Walls if it really bothers you. It stops lich and tri if they don't remove it.

I feel like people are too upset with Eldlich. Sky Striker and Prank Kids are both hard to beat because the weak points aren’t always clear. You could imperial order and skill drain the spells, but these cards both have life point costs.
Also, Tri-Brigades are easy to beat. Control your opponents graveyard and monster effects on the field. Infinite Imperence and cards that change monster card types in the graveyard /remove from the graveyard are great ways to beat Tri-Brigade.
You can beat Eldlich by stalling out the game, once they activate Imperial Order and Skill Drain. Then, you can also beat them by removing Eldlich the Golden Lord from game. Another way, you can beat Eldlich is by playing Mask Hero Dark law , Macro Cosmos, dimension shifter, dimensional fissure, and other cards that cause cards to be banished. Eldlich the Golden Lord requires things to be sent to the graveyard for both of its effects (both to summon and pop something on the field from hand)

Haquero is too much situational, Conquistador is a face-up pop (it's not that effective in 2022, you know) and the golden lord is probably the best card in the Eldlich engine, but it does target and it's very very vulnerable to called by the grave. My advice is, just don't pop face down cards, that's not good in a grind game situation (Eldlich is a grind deck) and chain your Mst o Cosmic cyclone to continuous traps (like order or skill drain). I play drutron, I did use herald but genuinely swapped it for another drytron boss monster as soon as I felt the pain my foes were feeling. It isn't fun to be negated and for that I am reformed

Another play you can do is activate your monster effect on the field and forbidden droplets your own monster that you are activating so it can resolve in the grave. (Skill drain negates monsters on the field)

Why I like using Ice Dragon's Prison as well. They usually target my backrow which then just chain IDP and steal the eldlich from their GY

I’m the one who made the little example video at 19:44. Allow me to clear up your questions
    1. I’m playing on a PlayStation 5
    2. I was in solo mode against elementsaber bot
Originally the dragon maid channel was talking about how we can utilize I:P with sheou and summoning big monsters on the standby phase.

summon the black luster link monster with a 7* material, kill one of his trap monsters by combat with him, chose "gains 1500 atk", done, he can't target it or destroy it (on top of that, he can banish 1 monster per combat phase)

Hi fellow D/D player here. Quick question. Do you play Contract with the Eternal Darkness for Nibiru and Super Polymerization? If so, how many?

Beat an Eldlich player with mathmech, they didn't have skill drain and there's so much recursion in the deck (fitting), that even after pumping out a level 12 synchro you can still pop off and get a level 8 synchro (that can conveniently also destroy the back row. Superfactorial gets through skill drain, and if they just have eldlich out with a 6k Prime Sigma, they're suddenly down to 1k which shuts off counters if they're still at 8k

Its true that eldlich Is annoying but its also true that many Peoples forget cards like malevolent catastrophe or witch strike exist.Combine those cards with cards that remove from the game cards instead of sending them to the graveyard and build around a deck that doesnt play with the graveyard and see eldlich crying.

2 days ago i faced someone in rank who was using eldlich deck and that was my 3rd rank match in master duel. I was using synchro deck after spending 3000 gems on junk secret packs. At first my opponent almost got me but later i somehow broke his combo, stole his eldlich monster, he had to Destroy it for his own sake. I somehow inflicted small damage which made his lifepoints 4900. After that i stopped attacking and 2 scrap iron scarecrow saved me every single turn. When he had 700 lp left he surrendered.
