- This Multi-Effects has all I need in Most Situations. The Sonicake Sonicbar Twiggy Blues multi-effects is actually five effects in one: Cabinet simulator, compressor, overdrive, delay and reverb. What really makes it a great pedal is the cab simulator. I would have no problem using this directly into a PA in most situations. Without the cab sim, this would not sound good. It was easy to dial in the tone and I love the individual foot buttons rather than programing in the effects digitally. I highly recommend this for someone that is pluggin up directly into a PA and/or wants a simple pedalboard that will have 90% of the effect you will need. I just bought one used on reverb. Can’t wait for it to come in. Those effects are the only ones I use so to have it all in one is perfect for me.

Thanks for this review. It made me look up Sonicake and I found out they have a bass multi-effects pedal. Compressor, Fuzz, Preamp w/tone and Octave. I've just about talked myself into it. (edit: Yeah, that and their noise gate are on the way)

Can you use that bass multi-fx unit with a guitar? 🤷♂️ I mean, I know you physically can, but does it sound good? Did you try it, Kennis?
Speaking of compressors, I need to pick one up. That'll likely be the next pedal I buy. Just gotta find one, now.

Nice looking and sounding unit. Would be good to know how this plays with other pedals. There’s no effects loop so that could be a limiting factor. Also, if you’re going straight into a PA, the mixer better be close as it doesn’t appear the output is balanced.
I have not tested it with other pedals. Effects loop would be nice, but not sure if that is the market. More of an all in one for the blues player multi effect. Regarding the PA. It's the same as a normal pedalboard without balanced outs.
The compressor does the job of increasing the volume for a solo?
Completely irrelevant but I have that same desk pad! Sounds pretty good 👍
lol. I like this desk pad. I wish it was just black or another color, but I could not find one I liked for the same price. It still looks cool I think

this or a zoom multieffects pedal with a built in expression/wah for $20-30 more......
