The best show on T.V. I just bought a 70's Daisy 840, based on this video(ebay). I also still have my Crossman 760 from 1978. I have a few more other types. I never tire of it.

merry christmas l have been shooting my . daisy no.111-model 40 from around later 1940s they resemble the famous winchester 94 one of my favorite top 10 guns.

l agree l have more joy shooting my vintage pellet/bb guns. all this fancy dancy stuff is all over the top and all it will do is work for awhile then break down.

@@scotthanson4200 I feel you. I have very expensive PCPs. I also have budget PCPs (if you can really call any PCPs budget after adding up everything to begin from scratch) that I love shooting.
But I did something different recently. I purchased a HW30S from Airguns of Arizona. It's 177cal and they suggested a $125 dollar HAWKE Vantage 2-7 × 32 scope with Sportsmatch mounts.
The total cost was $514 dollars shipped to my door. No tax.
This is the wood stock version and a design that dates to around 1950s I think.
After shooting this 6.5ft pounds of energy little rifle I'm hooked. It's super lightweight and I can literally cock it with my pinki finger. At 25yards it's as accurate as anything I own. It even shoots cheap pellets from Walmart excellent.
I've already shot a few thousand rounds through it. So my eyes are now open to what I've been missing. No pumping. No compressor. No leaks. Just simple, reliable and easy. Perhaps this is better after all. 🇺🇲
@@heithwatkins sweet gun the weihrauch air guns are the best springers to get l own a beeman R1 from 1987 .20 cal and it is a joy to shoot very little re-coil felt . just aim pull the trigger with confidence. the one you are getting will be very cool to see your vidio on it. it has that famous rekord trigger same as my R1 gun.

I wish i still had some of my old bb and pellet guns growing up from about 1974 to the early eighties. Living where i did that's about all i had to do was grab a bb gun and go outside. That was a great list and i love 22lr too. Merry Christmas!

I really loved my 1981 daisy 840 ( it's rifled ), but sadly the plastic valve went out and can't be fixed.
I may be able to put a modern 840 valve in it but i wouldn't have a rifled barrel.
The daisy 1910 ( a single pumo version of the 35 ) is a far superior gun in my opinion because they have a metal valve.
Nibs, I'd like to see you review the Benjamin Armada 25cal pcp. 🎅👍
That is one I would like to try too. We’ll see how things work out. So far Crosman has been very hard to deal with concerning review units. I don’t mind buying stuff but I am trying to work more affiliations moving forward

I have one of those excellent airguns in my basement. Its unfortunately a bit banged up though. It does work and looks exactly like the one you showed us except mine has the wooden pump handle like you said. I haven't realy investigated when it was made but its old and a bit leaky. The biggest problem is to find ammo for it so i thank you for your tip.😊

What’s your most accurate sporter 22 rifle? For me, use to be a Kleinguenther but now my Anschutz 1710 D KL. The 22mag is my Cooper 57M Jackson squirrel rifle. Merry Christmas.
Don’t know if you would consider it a sporter but my Izhmash cm2 is quite amazing. Probably one of my favorite sporters is my BSW Suhl KKW that was converted from a military trainer to a target sporter

I am very interested in the Daisy 450-500 model. It looks like the Daisy 95 model, but the 95 model only has bbs, so there are 5 shot clips, maybe try one like that? Good for survival?
