Respectable groups by two decent guns.
Even the less expensive PCP rifles have impressive accuracy. Just joined the Darkside with a Marauder and it was a real eye opener for a springer guy.
I really want a semi auto Marauder. Gets nothing but rave reviews from it's owners.😊
@@stevengoodman3498 I was just going to buy 1 good PCP and not have several so now I have an Avenge X and a Marauder 🤔. The semi auto Marauder is calling to me now also😁. Might be able to work it in next summer. PCP rifles are more awesome than I imagined.
Its nice when everything comes together just right and you can walk away with a smile! 😊
Really like that heavy caldwell rest you're using Nibs. Extremely rock solid! Great head to head test with these fine rifles. I have been shooting my inexpensive guns lately and been having a blast! I forgot the fun factor they give so it's been awesome. Happy shooting brother! 😊
Great shooting Nibs. You have two great budget rifles there! From what I've seen and read the Beeman will win at 35 yards and beyond. Overall the Beeman has a better stiffer barrel for longer range accuracy, barrel lottery dependent of course!!! There is the carbon fiber barrel shroud mod. for the Stormrider to push it out to 100 yards. This second shooting space is going to be great for pellet testing and comparisons all winter long! Always love your videos, thanks for all the hard work!
I put one of those 'gravmags' on my Chief also (after seeing your video discovering they fit) and love it! IMHO as far as the bang for dollar you really can't beat the QB Chief. This from a guy who owns many other more expensive PCP's but I find I use my QB most, even more than my FX line up. (Though to be fair the FX is much more accurate at farther ranges) Thanks for sharing Nibbs.
I would like to know how the weights of the riffle compare. I've heard the Diana is very light . I pretty much agree with you on scopes except I think external adjustable turrets are a must for air guns because each pelet brand has a different poi , I shoot a few shots see where it hits and adjust for different pellets or the distance I'm shooting for the day to get on the 🎯 , in the past I would zero at 40 yards and just use mildots to hit my target/bullseye. Having the external turrets makes me less inclined to keep my zero in the same place / distance .
Both guns look great , I saw the Stormrider on one of the big airgun websites PA, 2 days ago 22cal Diana Stormrider going for $200
Happy Halloween. It is gradually gaining a foothold here too. The advantage is that we can scare the women here more quickly in the dark.🖐️🎃👻
Hi Can you tell me where you bought the muti pellet thingy for the Chief? Thanks.
Its called a gravmag and its sold by a fellow out of England on ebay
@@WalnutandSteel Thanks. It did not list the Chief. Did you buy a different one to fit?
I don’t think he ever intended it to be used on the qb chief but the receiver on the qb chief is virtually identical to the steel reciever available from crosman
@@WalnutandSteel Thanks I appreciate that.
