So...I recently had an AeroFlow Dynamics V2 splitter rip off at highway speeds, even with the 5 bolts through the bumper, due to "downforce wind" per AFD, who then recommended splitter rods...despite stating them for 120MPH+ on their website.
With this having no rods etc and being entirely held in by screws...how confident are you that wind will never get in there and shear it off?

I can’t say nothing would ever happen, but trust me I drive my car hard everyday and have no issues with the Veloce splitter. With all the mounting hardware that comes with this splitter, I would be more than shocked if it came off. I wouldn’t see the need for rods, unless there was minimal hardware and/or the lip stuck out further than the one I have does. I’ve seen some manufacturers make two styles of splitters. One that sticks out slightly past the bumper, no rods needed, and a more aggressive one that sticks out much further, requiring rods.
