lol i just bought this one , good thing you made a video on how to put it in . thank alot !!!
Great work! Love the install vid 🙌🏻🤙🏼
@@KDMStation Will the load mouth work on the Kona N? Mine is red so Im ordering the red Takada CAI.
@@cindysue5474 I honestly wish it did but it’s vehicle specific. I’m sure they are working on a kit for the Kona n though.
🔥🔥🔥🔥 I put routed the switch inside the cabin under my light switch. Didn’t like the idea of the switch staying on. I also dremeled a hole and mounted clean.
Best place to put this was a quick video for people to get an idea on install. But that is where ours will be going for sema
I got one for my genesis sedan. The car feels smoother when getting on the throttle
Congrats man ! I been watching you guys. Taking some notes and see'n what new stuff is in the pipe line for the EN. Don't take offense but I linked up with #titanium_x and other sources for some parts... I'll be on here soon with some of my own content but as it is I'll be (like I said) taking notes. Good $#!+ ... I dig the concept inspired upgrade wheels, similar to the OEM ones. I'm actually looking into OEM Genesis wheels (square set) off the G70 at the moment. Off set is off (47mm v.s. 55mm if I remember correctly) but they fit the theme of the vehicle nicely. #elantran #i30n #avanten #hyundaiusa #hyundaiperformance #hyundaikorea #hyundaielantran #n_grin_shift
Do you think a spare tire T125/80R17 will clear the brake calipers on Elantra N, especially front calipers since they are bigger than rear?
I picked up a 2021 Kia Forte GT MT two weeks ago, noticed the switch near the fuse box and I was so curious about what that was for and your video definitely answered my question! Awesome mod. Since I'm a second owner of the car and never got to meet the previous owner, idk how to connect that to to my phone(app). Did the instruction come with a special code to connect the bluetooth to your app or does it just pick up?
It should just pick it up as long as you have your Bluetooth on your device on. I would turn the switch off before wait about 10 seconds. And then try and turn it back on and connect.
@@KDMStation yup I just downloaded the app and it picked up right away. It’s so cool! Thanks for the tip!
Why is there nothing for 2021 I keep seeing parts up to 20, and some for 22 but it’s like 21 is the step child
So does it only come in clear with the light up option? I wanted the red around it.
The clear is only for the lit option. You can definitely customize the colors though if you don’t want the lit kit and can have red around.
I emailed the velossa tech company to ask will this fit my Hyundai Elantra SEL 21’ they could not give me a specific answer. But 9/10 most of the N line products do fit my vehicle.
Do you think the set you ordered will fit my vehicle
It’s a 50/50 chance to be honest. I have never seen behind a Elantra front bumper to know. Best thing for you to do is pull your bumper off and compare the front end radiator support area where the big mouth mounts too to be certain
Possible to install a second mouth on the other side? Seen some cars with two.
They have two for cars that have dual intakes like the stingers and g70. Unfortunately the Elantra N only has 1 intake.
Should I make the body Nitrous Blue to match my RS or leave it Black?
It’s definitely up to the look your going for. But the possibilities are endless for sure.
So I have the same kit, everything the same, but there’s a black bar in front of the condenser, in front of the radiator, and it is apparently a transmission/oil cooler, but yours appears to be taken out… did you have to take it out?
My wife’s Elantra is a manual so she doesn’t have a trans cooler. We didn’t run into that issue. But Velossa tech wouldn’t have made the kit to remove the trans cooler. I believe the dct version is slightly bended in the back to make room for it.
@@KDMStation it’s actually slightly carved out in the back, so it works out perfectly
would a ratchet spanner be better?
Absolutely. I was limited on my tools because of being out of state but it would definitely help.
No night vid? Also that alot of extra wiring. I would cut and splice to shorten that up.
It’s not that big of a deal for us. I’m sure they include that much in case you want to run it somewhere else in the Engine bay.
Custom made. Elantras in general dont get love like hondas, ect. 300 well spent indeed. Besides, performance plus lots of money go hand in hand. :)
is hooking up the "LIT KIT" part the same compared to hooking it up on a Veloster N?
@@KDMStation yes i found his video just doesnt show the wiring of the RGB part from the velossa tech!
@strangenemo808 it should be the same since it’s wired directly from the battery. Just run the ground to somewhere in the same area I did and same thing with the switch.
we needa see more of that shorty 😉
what is the point of that thing anyway?
For shows and to show off at car shows. The led functionality has no other point other than to be a show point.
@@KDMStation as snorkle tho does it change anything? Looks like it's coming off as soon as a cold air pod filter is available
@@damienfrizzell9394 nope this will utilize the same air box that SXTH will come out with as well as afe. So it won’t be removed with any other intake.
is this !egal on public roads? in California? Virginia?
I can’t speak on legality issues but I can say from experience we have had no issues with law enforcement in California while having this on. We just don’t use blue or red lights
Will this void the warranty at all?
No, even if they tried to claim this caused any electrical issues. It doesn’t plug into any fuses or anything. It direct to the battery so they would have to prove this caused the issue.
300 bucks for a piece of plastic that has some led's in it. SMH.
The car has practically every performance mod available right now. So yes $300 well spent.
Am i the only one that thinks this light looks dumb. like i dont get it, whats the point? I own an elantra n btw.
It’s an accent light that goes around the Velossa tec. The Velossa tec is functional and sold without the led function. We do a lot of car shows and events so it works perfect for our needs. But yeah I think your one of the very few who thinks it looks dumb lol.
Agree its for the hard parked car. Not my cup of tea but if it keeps aftermarket healthy for those who are performance orientated then it's a win.
Not the best diy video.. lots of missed explanation. But gg on showing the actual product.
@KDM Station Hey 10months kater since i have you. Hows the product through wear and tear?
@@robertc.5558 still looks good. It needs to be wiped down periodically but you can access everything the grill
Car looks so damn good!!! Definitely thinking about picking this up after the eyelids
