Even this is simulator, most crash tests are at about 65 kM. No car will survive on speed of 150kM and above crashing to solid wall. I believe this simulator is engineering software which has very complex math inside. Not just animation.
Over 100km the big problem will be not a car's ability to survive, but the human's inability to bear the overload.
As for the metal - quite a lot of tests with speed over 65km are done.

Volvo perform most of non standart crashes, different angles, speeds 80-90km. That's why they show the results like this:

I have never seen a wall driven so badly.
The fact that the Volvo brand vehicle is solid is actually acceptable to me, but there may be symmetrical mistakes and differences in the video, but thank you for your effort, it was a nice video. Personally, I'm someone who loves a Volvo for its durability, thanks again.

Almost looks like you'd survive but G - force's would be crazy at that speed
90 km/h crash to solid wall kill, and real 200 km/h crash will total see car much worse.

I remember ~8 months ago there was a crash in the capital city (Sofia) where one *** was driving his BMW X6 with 100km/h at least and he crashed into a metro station, killed 2 girls waiting on the pedestrian crossing and after that his car was devided on two. And this monster survived after this horrible crash. All of Bulgaria was shocked...
@@xgamez5698 In this types of crashes driver is very lucky. This is possible because the car don't get big g forces. That mean no direct hard crash and speed slows down by many different factors.

Mythbusters has already tried this with a car IRL, driving at 120 mph into a concrete wall that made the car turn itself inside out as a result with no possible survivors "in" it.

Adac tested the impact of a Golf at a speed of 100 km/h into a deformable barrier, and the driver would have a slim chance of survival. But this is a wall and the consequences are worse. When hitting a wall, the advantage of a heavier car like Volvo is erased.

Although the car was relatively intact even at 124mph, the human body simply couldnt take that g force and blunt force trauma. Technology is brilliant but humans are rubbish 🤷

Not realistic. We have to remember that if speed is doubled the kinetic energy is four times higher. So should the damages be. It doesn't look like that. Of course the car has different kinds of collision zones meaning first parts give up easier than others in collision...but still I believe this gives too optimistic picture. And naturally persons inside can't survive with high g forces even if the body of the car keeps its form. Internal traumas to body organs are huge in this kind of crash.
