That self adjusting suspension is hands down one of the coolest things I have seen in a LEGO build!
I imagine that you're going to use this system in future builds as well.
Beautiful. Outstanding detailing for such a large, complex functional model, and that leveling suspension is pure genius. Worth the wait, man, worth it indeed
After all the years of calling LEGO out on not using dual-wheels on their trucks, you went ahead and not only fitted the biggest tires to this but also doubled them up for good measure.
Awesome :|
42043 has double wheels
8285!
The use of the accelerometer with the Mindstorms unit is super clever. Awesome as always Sariel
Umm, actually it's not an accelerometer. He uses the gyroscope. These two are different things
@@poderis1088 Im just going by what it says in the video
@@johnrawrallday Sorry, I didn't saw that. That means that he made a mistake.
@@poderis1088 no problem, I'd ask Sariel if it was a mistake or not.
@@poderis1088 It is accelerometer.
Yet again another awesome creation. Totally love the construction/mining equipment. I just wish I had half the peices you did and the skill to build stuff like this.
The mindstorms unit is such a great addition. Fantastic build!
Wow! What a beast! Really impressive built.
Amazing work as always. Can’t wait to see the next one done!😀
I really love this moc. I had a metal dumptruck toy like this when I was younger and still memorable. Might make a dump truck moc soon.
This build is awesome! Great work as always!
Gigantic! Great work again Sariel 👍🏻🔥
The best lego-tech on CZcams today😉
Super cool! Nicely done Sariel!
This is the most amazing creation yet :D. SUBSCRIBED.
That's a behemoth! Great work mate
So THIS is what a LEGO model of a dump truck worth its salt looks like, combined with what a Technic model of a dump truck worth its salt moves like - plus some. Great work!
Again an amazing model, your skills are outstanding! Much greetings from the Netherlands.
So amazing! Obviously LEGO would never do something so awesome with all the Mindstorms kit, but it would be more appealing than the upcoming Liebherr D9800 at an aesthetic and play level - to me at least. I absolutely love your work Sariel.
How long do your builds usually survive before being broken up?
Świetna budowla! Więcej takowych!!
Awesome dude! Been waiting for this!💪🏼👌🏼
Stellar engineering, excellent work!
that looks amazing. you make amazing creations.
As usual. Everything yo do. its perfect!
Yes, finally, i waited so long!
As Jeff Goldblum once said: "You did it! You crazy son of a bitch, you did it!"
It’s good to see no animals were harmed in the making of this video. Oh yeah, BTW. Very cool truck as well. LOL
get your hamster away from this thing, Its a CAT design xD
Jak zawsze.... Mega efekt końcowy 😁
I can never get over how huge these things are in real life
That's what she said 😁
Hungry Films hctajyafs
perfect truck 💖 cool video 👍
Awesome! That deal with the accelerometer to keep it up right is crazy my only complaint is how jittery the movement of the bucket is
Nice job bro amzing! 👍
Also, the thing that he put into the truck in the beginning of the vis was beans, proving that this is the ultimate bean retriever at 2 in the morning
Me: always has trouble finding a good place for the ev3 brick
You: "features a hidden ev3 unit"
Jak zawsze po prostu zajebiste
Dokładnie
Being as late to this as I am, not much I can think to say that isn't already in the comments, beyond this:
Your praise is very well deserved. You clearly put a lot of work into these projects, it shows. You take the time to make these creations accurate to the source material in terms of both functionality and aesthetics, which can often be a tug-of-war, especially in reduced scales. I Imagine you typically don't leave your models together all that long for the sake of reusing your parts (but even If you could somehow afford to build at the rate you do without taking anything apart, think about the sheer number and size of all your mocs-you'd need a small museum by now to store everything you've built (a museum I'd gladly visit;)), I kindly request that you make an exception here, just long enough to see it work with the leibherr mining excavator in your review. I think it's something we'd all really like to see. But if that can't happen, it's not the end of the world. And if it means more mocs to be built with its parts, then go for it.
Thanks, the truck is mostly taken apart already for parts and space, and it wouldn't match the Liebherr excavator's scale anyway - it's much too big for it.
@@searme Ah, it's all right. I'm sure the review will be well worth watching anyways. And I concur, that self-adjusting suspension was really neat, even if it didn't work perfectly. You know, that's another part of why I love your work so much. I don't think anyone would bat an eye if you hadn't bothered with such a feature, but you did. I like to think maybe just to see if you can. Perhaps it's a function on the real machine. But on top of everything else, your'e always trying new things, always looking for new solutions to old problems. Sometimes it works(the pneumatic remote from your JCB wastemaster), sometimes it dosen't work out (the self leveling turret you had planned for your tortoise tank, the rocket launcher from the aliens APC). You don't easily give up. And you learn from things that don't work, to develop solutions that do. And the prototypes are neat to look at, and worth documenting, because they help remind us not to underestimate what can be done with lego.
Wow Wow Wow. It is really amazing project and I like it
That massive wheels!!
Nice job there :) super nice details... you are so good at this you deserve a job at lego Technic division!!!! :)
Some says born to be wild
You are born with a brian made of bricks (Technic bricks)
Szkoda, że nie udało się z tą skrzynią biegów, ale przy tej wadze trudno o wszystko co się zaplanuje. Super się prezentuje na tych oponkach.
Very impressive!
Wow, you're amazing.
kawał dobrej roboty!
ps. Nadal czekam na A-10
2:17 "Tested on animals." I love it! Cosmetic companies here have to use the opposite disclaimer (not tested on animals).
This is nice creation but I find the correction angle too slow and the rear dump which is not braced correclty (it swings). But this is nice to see you again !
This is just enormous 🙄 this will be an awesome house for your hamster
he needs to build one of those camper shells that goes in truck beds and put it on this XD
Jack Radzelovage lol
Elegancko wyszło
Very impressive 👍
Another masterpiece from you, Well done! Inovative wheelhubs and a very clever suspension system!
Gotta love the 4 legged testers!
Love it good job.
You are the Lego Beast 😀
Great dump truck, will you use the 42100 to load this truck. Love to see it happen.
Good looking model! But, maybe, it would be better to attach the cargo hold to chassis with small turntables?
,,tested it on animals" sounds scary 😂
Very powerful!
Nice work
Amazing!
Impressive! One question: why there is so long lag between tilt being applied and correction?
It's a LEGO control box, not a laptop, it's good that it even works as it is. Not to mention, it's using an electric motor to correct, not hydraulics.
@@vtr0104 No, it's not because of LEGO control unit. It is because of poor programming. You can actually make really responsive and smooth self-adjusting mechanisms just by incorporating PID control algorithm to the system.
Poderis Nvm lol
@@bartybum Can you point me the place where I asked the question and answered it myself? You should check again m8
@@poderis1088 Oh shit sorry hahah, I thought for a second it was you who left the original comment. Silly me :S
What software do you use to make that cool diagram at 0.34?
Photoshop.
This NEEDS to be a set
now this build relay takes all the bricks
I always wanted a large scale Technic mining truck, strange there haven´t been any official ones yet.
I´m building one atm in the old Technic style, using 90´s parts :>
It might have motors and pneumatics too
The idea of using that tilt mech is really cool! It’s pretty slow but hey, those are the limitations of Lego. It’s impressive nonetheless. That cat is insanely cute btw. How much load can the truck handle without burning up the motors?
It's amazing
No ci przyznam jedno odpaliłeś całkiem dobry kawał roboty !! I mam dwa pytania :
1.czy to przednie zawieszenie zrobiłeś na żyroskopie?
2.czy na te zloty tych terenówek z lego to czeba się jakoś zapisać czy Ty to robisz ze swoimi kolegami?
1. Na akcelerometrze, jak napisałem w filmie.

Would love to see this as an official Lego set
there are so many things wrong with this in order to be a set
Can it carry a completed ORP Orzeł
?
Reminds me of my tonka trucks as a kid!
No animals were (fatally) harmed in the making of this video
Dude that's so awesome!
Did you use the old acculators old the new larger ones?
The old ones.
That suspension does nothing but satisfy me
The best dump truck in the world
Stunning. Been looking forward to it. What's going to take it's place in the queue?
KV-1/KV-2.
2 LINEAR ACTUATORS?!
I never would have guessed they could take such weight
How do you come with this ideas?
You watch for inspiration or you just simply try until it's good?
Because this is just amazing
Thanks, I just work on it until I'm mostly happy with it.
Keep it up!
Is the Caterpillar 797F Dump Truck at a similar scale to the new Liebherr D9800 Shovel to be released in October
No, it's at a much larger scale.
Wspaniała :)
hmmm.. mindstorms v3 at home with all sensors and many extra motors..check! the biggests wheels from2018/2019 and rims from krane2019 and (gaz)truck ...check! ,more as needed yellow, black and grey technic also city/creator parts in my collection....check! I must build this in honor of sariel!!!! absolutly impressing moc and so huge, I am totally flashed, all the god thinks to you sariel!!!!
Amazing work Sariel! I hope that this video will receive some attention.
Only a 3 min vid?
This is the kind of animal testing i can get behind :D
Superb - The position of the two actuators that tilt the cargo seem not to help the coupling stability though.
love you so much
Song?
Ah, the good old beans are back!
Yeah, it's the same beans, kept just for Lego purposes :)
Can you explain how you made that awsome suspension on the front axle?
I can and I did: sariel.pl/2019/08/caterpillar-797f/
Hey sariel, I’m going to strip my brushless 1/10th scale hobby grade system to put it into a LEGO car. Do you think that the plastic gears will shred?
Yeah, probably. Also, LEGO purists will persecute you ;)
Sariel's LEGO® Workshop alright. Gonna use double bevel gears for strength
Why the bucket is so unstable and shaking from left to right? Actuators are unsynchronised?
They are synchronized but each actuator has its own clutch inside it.
2:07 I can see a MAZ. But when will the submarine be completed?
idk but when its done itll probably actually work lol
42100 would seem to pair well with this set.
Big epic
Can u try to build a pf traxxas slash 4x4 1/10 plz
Cool
I have seen a real one on the copper mines
And they are gargantuan. This model is really close to the real thing.
at the start. 0:23 OUTTA DA WAY BABY BOI
Raely cool
I'm trying to find Cat dump truck to go with D11 and I stumbled upon this video. I'm curious, why is not eligible for Lego Ideas?
Non-LEGO tires, for instance.
