- This is alternate model for LEGO Technic Volvo Articulated Hauler 42114 set.
Mining Dump Truck in 1:42 scale. Build with 1726 pieces. Remotly control by Lego Technic Control plus app (Volvo profile). Model is completely motorized, with 3 motors (XL motor for drive, single L motor for gearbox control, servo motor for steering). The model has a 3-speed automatic gearbox and lifting tipper.

This is the best Lego dump truck by far
The moment I saw this model I had to build it…it works WAY better than the volvo and I love it a lot. The only complaint I have is there is an axle in the transmission that occasionally pops out…i fixed it by taking an extra 9stud beam, putting a pin in the top and dropping it into the hole the axle comes out. This hole is located between the drive and speed selection motors just behind the deck…other than that, amazing! Best alternate model I’ve ever seen!

That actually looks like it should have been a proper Lego released model, I always found the Volvo looked a bit out of proportion, but your rigid mining dumper looks 100%, and it looks like it fits in perfectly with the Liebherr as a 240t class hauler, think Komatsu 830 or Cat 793, great job!!

@@EricTrax just got it on xmas. really like how it goes with the 42100. just need some beans!
The only "catch" here is that two smart devices are required to do what is in the video. I have an Android phone and an Apple iPad, so I would be able to do it, assuming Bluetooth does not interfere with one another.

Yes. It has same gearbox ratio as model A.

What gears does this have? 1st? 2nd? 3rd? I read somewhere that the original model does not have enough power to support 3rd gear.
Hi. The model has a simpler drive system, so it is easier to drive in 3rd gear
