The Master's programme in International Food Business and Consumer Studies is characterised by a multidisciplinary approach at the interface between agriculture, food business and consumer science within an international context. Our goal is to qualify students to manage complex processes along the food chain, to develop and market food products and related services according to the needs of different consumer groups.
During the first semester, students are assigned one bridging module. This is designed to compensate for different levels of students' background knowledge and skills.

I'm in my end semester of bsc biochemistry degree and it ends only in may 2024 but the application deadline for IFBC is march 2024...what should i do...can you help me?

Yes its public, its in English, and its without any tuition fees.

Wow, that’s different. Yes it’s gonna be a big deviation, but if you have a strong motivation letter it should help, maybe they will take an interview where you can convince them better. But concern is the career after that, since your base is not anything related to food it can be challenging. Or maybe you can do something in Nutritional science. Which will be better to create a link between your past and future

No, it’s almost 100% offine, there are one or two modules which are online but again you have to be in Germany for that too.

It’s is going to be slightly out of the box, but since the application process is free, please give it a chance by providing a strong motivation letter. But again my concern is with the future career options. This will be quite challenging since your history is deviating from your present. Why you think you want to presume food science and not psychology, let me know

It will very different from what you studied, maybe they can ask you food or business related modules. It will be easy if you have completed such modules and If your total credits are equal to 180

Actually i applied for the winter 2024 and this programme will be start in October but may be i can't attend this time because of visa issue. May be i will get the visa for Germany in December. In this situation, Is this programme defer or accept my late arrival for 2 to 3 monts or 1 semester as i can attend the next semester??
