I went makeup free the first 18 years of my life! My mom forbid it. She wanted me to embrace my natural beauty and take care of my face. Now at 31, I still barely wear makeup. I only wear it to go out to eat, movie or an event. No shame in being makeup free!! 🥰🥰🥰❤❤❤
My mom was the same way. She didn't like for me to wear weave, makeup, or get a perm when I was younger. I'm now 21 and I enjoy my natural hair and I'm kinda just now getting into makeup.
“Makeup free” but they got Botox, go to the dermatologist every 2 weeks, extensive and very EXPENSIVE skin care routine, got eyelash extensions, lip plumpers, it’s not the same.

I stopped wearing make up because it changed other people's perception of my natural face. A long time ago I used to wear it every day to work and on the days I didn't wear it people thought I was sick. I'm tired of being told by the media that I need to look a certain way.
Agreed.. i have a friend that told me of her experience similar to yours. I cant relate bcuz i dont wear it at all. It breaks your skin, takes time out my day, money out my pocket and cloud people’s eyes. No thank u
Embrace them instead. I have raccoon eyes and people have even told me I do. But what people dont know is that I've earned these raccoon eyes, there are stories and memories behind them filled with wisdom. If I wear makeup everyday, I wont ever see my true beauty. So I decide to show the world my real face becuase in reality, once people see your real face, there is nothing to hide.

Girlllll i go makeup free all the time and it feels soooo damn good rubbing my eyes and my face when im sleepy or tired and nothing comes off, but when i wear makeup im looking myself in the mirror every 5 minutes because i look wird
I’m a guy. I only wear concealer to cover dark circles which runs in my family (ugh) lol. I fill in my brows and curl my lashes, that’s it. I get compliments. I’m enhancing and not covering.
I could do it. I’ve pretty much stopped wearing makeup since March. What’s the point when you’re home all day and in a mask when you’re out? Ive really started embracing my natural beauty ☺️
The way these Stay-At-Home Orders are set up, I haven’t worn makeup in more than a week!! I literally haven’t worn makeup more than 5 times since last year. 😁😁

I’m sorry honey. Really praying that changes for you. I’m 27. I will say, that when I was a young chicken - in my early twenties - I often felt insecure without makeup as well. I think it’s a little normal to feel that way, especially with the perfect filters that social media has. But now that I’m heading into my late twenties, I feel more confident without makeup. You literally don’t care what people think about you at all as you get older. With age and with maturity, the insecurities will gradually dissolve, especially once you gain confidence. Sending lots of love your way!
I hate when celebrities talk about not wearing make up when most of them has had so much plastic surgery done and they’ve had so many spa treatments and non-invasive treatments for their skin and then try to compare themselves to people who have to go the natural inexpensive route. 😂😂

Been makeup free since February, putting on makeup seems too much now for me.

I wouldn’t mind not wearing it if I had clear skin, but since I can’t find a good routine then I feel the need to cover acne with concealer..
I cut out dairy and it fixed my skin.
Bk is right dairy made it worse, try Sulfacleanse 8/4 and Tazorac from dermatologist...that cleanser changed my life! 😉
